Looks better, I would suggest adding a belt as his clothing looks somewhat bare at the moment. Also work on the part under his beard, Make it stick out a little bit more.

the shoulders look rusty, and that's good...

Although, they don't match the rest of the armor...
and the rust you made for the rest, doesn't show very good

i'd say define the rust much more, make the armour match in tone and sharpen it, so its more defined and clear :xcahik_:

I couldn't make the rust show for the chest armour without making it look right.

Orange spatter brush, dodge spatter brush and burn spatter brush. That's the way I used to do it, easy and quite effective.

And it's orange... why is it orange? Rust doesn't manifest itself in such a manner. :wink_new:

I think this might be why..

Orange spatter brush, dodge spatter brush and burn spatter brush. That's the way I used to do it, easy and quite effective.

@ guess who.. this is good advice ^^, it's similar to he way I do it, but go easy on the orange. do it all on a seperate layer, and if it comes out looking too orange play with the saturation untill it looks good :)

I didn't mean to make him think he had to use some huge orange spatter brush, just small ones on certain spots. Work from there.
