My experience with Metellos is from Coruscant and the Core Worlds; I don't see Legacy as a source...

Hey JDK or PR,
How do you make those straight ramps like shown in the third picture, I would really apreciate it if you'd tell me how because i'm going to need it allot in my arctic map.

Basically.. I use the passability view and make my ramps one wire frame line at a time, on Metellos the ramps were huge and I did intervals of 5 I think... maybe 10 using the leveling brush on 10 radius, either way it looks good as long as you blend it with the map well. The wireframe is like awesome for making precise angles and ramps in terrain, for a more natural look I don't tend to use the grid view as much.. try to randomize it a bit.

Also, that ramp has been touched up and straightened even more since I took the screenshot, also I've textured the streets to make them more appealing.

But yeah, I just go line by line on the grid view. The *real* trick is getting curved ramps. (Let me tell you those take FOREVER.) Though.. this does restrict my ramps to going in certain directions, straight ramps always have to face the way of at least one of the grid lines, but I plan ahead of time so it's never an issue. :)

Sorry if this made no sense, I'm really tired.
