Listen to this speech from Mark Levin. A Constitutional lawyer as well as an award winning author and talk show host. It saves me so much time to actually hear a speech like this that defines conservatism.

See there are alot of people who have woke up and realised we are not going to be dictated to about deconstructing the fundamentals of the US despite the huge effort of the left to "control" and change the Founding Fathers notions of this nation.

I'm not going to be a spectator in the left's deconstruction of the working processes of my nation. See the liberal far left is well organised, will lead you believe we are far right and that a bigger government is needed to take care of the people.

I don't believe in government to accomplish much. I'd rather train the uneducated to learn how to be big people in the economy, reteach people how to manage and control thier own lives.

Money in the people' pocket spends more wisely than money in the goverments pocket. So listen to the speech. If you did not listen to it, do not post a reply here. I demand I am heard before I am judged upon.

Wow, must have a really slow media player. 3 days later and still no reply. Always good to be well informed what the other side is thinking, that is why I listen to left wing radio. I found myself open minded and sometimes agreeing with them. Open your minds to all perspectives...

So I assume you have listened to the speech and have decided to become conservative? Or maybe you didn't listen to it?

Except that doing those things doth not make you a conservative. And I don't see you doing those things. Especially the first and the last.

With regard to the latter, I don't tolerate it either. Hence why I still come here despite y'all being asses to me. I should postulate that censorship only matters to you when it is you to whom it is applied. If it affects someone you dislike or disagree with, you couldn't care less. For that little guy, you turn a blind eye. On the other hand, while I may loathe and despise the ideals or opinions someone holds, I will always stand by his right to express it, along with, consequently, his opponent's right to retort.

Jee, and I sussed that out from my own personal experience of this site alone. It strikes me that you interfere with freedoms more than you think you do, and if you were in a position of real power, it might very likely be as repressive as those governments you alledgedly fear.
