killakanz's tutorial for C&C3 Vehicles.
It's finally finished, and it's BIG!!
This new tutorial covers everything, from modeling skills to animating tread shaders to WWskin binding animation, everything you need to get your units into C&C3 in one big tutorial.
Check it out, and spread the word!!

"Om du kan stå, när alla andra sviktar
och sen klandras du för att just du står rak
Om du kan tro på ditt när andra riktar
sitt välbekanta tvivel mot din sak
Om var minut av nitti sen kan fyllas
med verk av dig som giltigt räknats ner
min vän, som jordens konung ska du hyllas
men du är också man, och det är mer."

The original and still the best!
My first tutorial, the tank building tutorial for total beginners has moved to the new site.
Since the first draft way back in Feb 2003, it's been re-written 3 times and enjoyed unprecedented success and has been used by thousands of modders around the globe.
In the case of the re-birth, it hasn't changed (apart from the page layouts).
It can now be found here.
This tutorial is aimed a total beginners to the 3D modeling world. Those who have only just installed gmax and thinking "ok, what do I do now?"
While it is based around gmax, the basics are still very similar to 3DS Max today (gmax was the freebe version of 3DS Max 4).
It's recommended for new C&C3 modders to go through this tutorial before doing my C&C3 vehicles tutorial, so you have a basic grasp on things.

The Generals tank setup tutorial has just arrived at the new site now, continuing from the original tank building tutorial.
The very basics of heirarchical linking is explained in this one, as well as bones. Also suggested reading before starting the C&C3 tutorial.
Find it here
