I think the Flutes of the Gondolindrim poweris overpowered. It should either buff allies or debuff enemies, not both.

And Ecthelion is meant to be a melee hero, so I don't think having magic attacks really fits him.

How about this remove Fingolfin's Likeness of Oromë(WAY too powerful) move and make it a shockwave typed move, then make him ringhero for one of the factions..

Gil-Galad should be in this mod also, because he took power after the Fall of Gondolin.

Gil-Galad was the owner of the Ring of Valya(Elronds ring) so he should be in it.

This takes place before the rings were forged, so using that as an argument is completely pointless.

I remember there being a large and fairly heated argument about the exclusion of Gil-Galad between the old staff :xcahik_:. Basically though, you need to draw the line with heroes somewhere, especially in a first age mod with the sheer volume of suitable heroes. Gil-Galad was a minor player compared to people like Fingolfin, Fingon, Turgon, Ecthelion etc, and he'd be the same type of hero (i.e. heavy melee) so I opted to not include him.

It depends on the alignment of the current mod team though, I was never really a fan of Gil-Galad, whereas I adored the Gondolindrim, hence their 3 heroes :p

I agree with Zimoo, Gil-Galad doesn't have a big role in the Wars of the Silmarils or in the first age at all. He would proably just be copy of Turgon or Ecthelion. You just have to limit the number of heroes, especially in this mod, because... well, i've made a list and if you are gonna have all the heroes that named in the book, then there would be about 70 (if not more) for both good and evil.

Unfortunately there is absolutly no room for Beren and Ossirand in the Teleri, there are far too many heroes already and Falathrim already incorparates those Ossirand units. Beren is a summon hero instead.

I would rather put Ossiriand in insteed of Agualonde, because they didn't fought in Belerian, not even in the War of Wrath, they only aided the Vanyar and Noldor with ships. So i think that Ossiriand is better as one of the Teleri mini-factions.

I have added some of my ideas for the Edain faction, and again it is created from the Tech-trees.

Hope you like them, give comments
