All noted. Most are known.

Well...Units clump together too easy sometimes. That can be veeeeeery annoying after a while if a attack troll/mumakil(anything whit crush damage) come and kill all your units. Even your team8's troll....or your own :/


That's EA's pathfinding issue. It's with all BfMe2-mods, the basic game too, and of course BfMe1 if you increase the horde sizes. Some players consider clumping a vital strategy. Makes more units (when they are clumped together) able to attack a narrow target (like a hero for instance). You have well described the dangers of clumping. ;)


Mmh, how about decreasing the battalion sizes? Why not go back to the BFME1 battalions (or just half the size of the current battalions), with higher CP of course. Would resolve pathfinding problems, and the fact that half your battalion is doing nothing while the rest is fighting.

Because its my first post in this forum, ;) THUMBS UP ;) for this mod. It gives me back the fun to play BFME.

Ok but now move on to the bug (maybe it isn´t one we will see):

Maps: All

Faction: Mordor

Units: Nazgûl, Porters (of every faction)

Bug: When you poison a porter with the Morgul Blade skill, just before he "goes" into the builded Structure, and he come out at the end of the buildphase, he is still poisoned but when he dies then there is no wight spawn.

Sorry for maybe bad grammatics ;)

The ring cannot enter in towers, ships, holes, eagles, fellbeasts, frodo... Is always inside the middle island (pretty useless).
The AI ignore colonizing by sea. The middle island is always a "safe place".

Various maps, all in the SEE package, same effect
Brutal all
Sometimes, when getting the one ring and creating Dark Galadriel all the factions stop moving all the time (tons of units).

Dagorlad II
Brutal all
3 goods + 1 extra elves + 3 bads + 1 extra mordor
The elves resource catching is slower than normal, probably other factions too. Covered 1/3 of the map with mallorn trees and the others still had a higher resource catching index (??).

Mordor
Brutal all
3 goods + 1 extra elves + 3 bads + 1 extra mordor
I only saw walls in other factions than mine in this map, and they are abandoned, just buid in the first moments but then forgotten to be mantained. Also they were pretty dumb, just a section with two nodes.

General
Now I can lock entire regions with walls (note that I build a wall node after 1 wall section) and the AI treats them as impenetrable walls, only when Mordor comes with Grond they do something. What about an increased cost by the distance from the center of the fortress? This allows walls only where they should be. Or an increased cost for each section, making the rebuild button useful. Also wall hubs and doors should have rebuild too after they are destroyed, if not is frustating to have pieces of walls that do nothing.

Off topic:
Just a question: If i'm a "good one" and I take an evil ship factory why now it makes different things. What about unique ship buildings? Replace the shipmakers with just an empty harbour and you build the factory over it to have sea stuff.

Bug: Boromirs little ability that keeps him alive ended up with him being invincible for the rest of the game. I believe that he was at level 8 or 9 when the power activated.

Bug:After his last stand ability where he glows blue and flails about he turned normal and kept fighting with no health for about 20 minutes the died

Map:minas tirith
factions:men vs Mordor
Units Ork Archers
Bug Wouldt Attack anything except when u use bombard

It was the elven harbor map and my Nazgul was down to low health. I was playing against 2 isengards BTW. Well the Nagul did its whole death run right by a siege works and somehow stayed "alive". I couldnt control it, couldnt select it, or anything. I tried bombarding it, hitting it with 100's of powers, setting it on fire, but it stayed there just running and running. I finally gave up on the whole thing and beat the game. The enemy didnt try to kill it though, I thought that would be worth mentioning.

Bug: I managed to buy the rangers but when I try to buy the dwarven unit the icon is greyed out. It says I don't have a a forge or armoury when I do. I havealso bought all the upgrades from the forge so that can't be the problem.

this one has been reported before, but it occurred to me:

all maps
men of the west
boromir
he stays in his last stand for about 10 mins when he first uses it, killed about 200 enemy dwarves who got pounded by their own catapults

another one that always happens to me:

all maps
men of the west
eowyn
she isn't bound correctly to her skeleton, and randomly hangs in the air, flailing about

i haven't seen this one reported yet:

all maps
moria
warg pack
the alpha warg runs as usual, but his pack seems to "drift" - they don't run, and glide behind him

Hello, this is my first post in these forums but i'm having some problems..


Minas Tirith map
Me=Men
vs
Computer (Brutal) = Mordor
Computer (Brutal) = Mordor
Computer (Brutal) = Mordor

They arent attacking me.. they are simply defending their strongholds with all their units and arent rushing or attacking me at all. This happens in all the maps i tried, just like with:

Helms Deep
Me=Elves
vs
Computer (Brutal) = Mordor
Computer (Brutal) = Isengard
Computer (Brutal) = Isengard

They arent trying to breach my gate, they are only gathering resources and standing with their units in their bases

bug: after getting the ring I still coudn't buy Sauron because there was no Sauron-button





I myself also mod the game a bit and had this bug in my own mod as well. As far as I know its a problem with the "CommandSet MordorMonumentFortressCommandSet" which has only 8 revival slots but with the nazgul mordor has now more than 8 heros. So just changing that together with the "Command_SelectRevivablesMordorMonumentFortress" should solve this. :p

(You probably already knew this however I thought it woudn't hurt to ad this :xcahik_: )

if you look at the map, me being mordor in the fortress, men in the middle, dwarves under right, elfes above left. All being on hard mode and all in the same team against me.
- What units was involved, if any?
My own customized troll, wearing the grey metal armor, the one you get if you make the troll and go one back <-, everything on his body was that kind of armor and he was wearing a sword.
- What happened exactly when the bug was discovered?
The troll helmet was visible but there was a blackbox over his eyes and nose, mouth was still visible, no blackboxes on any other part of the body, the black box was set in place, when I looked at the back of the troll for example the blaxkbox obiously wasn't seen because it was on his face in the front. Don't know if this happens on other maps.

I don't know if this was the meaning but in gol duldur none of the factions attack me, they wait for me, they are 'defending' instead of attacking the fortress and me defending.

I was mordor, elves or men in the fortress
- What units was involved, if any?

- What happened exactly when the bug was discovered?
I don't know if this was the meaning but on these maps the enemy doesn't defend the fortress, they just come out and attack.

I know the last two are bugs ea had as well, hoped you might fix them :p .
