Ytse Jam, of Dream Theater is very good, have you listened it Nertea?
Also my favourite songs are thunderstruck (ACDC) Carpe diem of Jet Market, something of pennywise and the old stuff of No use for a name...
Recently i've discovered a group called berri txarrak. It's from Navarra and they sing in Basque, I really like them.

I'm rather in love with a French street band by the name of Orion at the moment. My parents bought their album 19 years ago on a holiday in Brittany, and it is absolutely incredible. Folkish, pirateish instrumental awesomeness. I don't have a favourite song off the album, but the album as a whole counts as one of the best things I have ever listened to.
I hope I am a good enough writer that some day dwarves kill me and drink my blood for wisdom.

I'm actually going to list some of my favourite songs now:

Pink Floyd - High Hopes
HURT - Falls Apart
Nightwish - The Poet And The Pendulum
Demons & Wizards - Crimson King
Sonata Arctica - The Cage
Avantasia - The Scarecrow
Seether - No Jesus Christ
Florence + The Machine - Drumming

No prizes for guessing what my favourite genre is. Subgenre, though, that's a whole new question. :D I appreciate that Florence + The Machine doesn't really fit there, by the way. I just really like the song.
I hope I am a good enough writer that some day dwarves kill me and drink my blood for wisdom.

Eternal Life - Jeff Buckley

I'm loving Jeff Buckley's 'So Real: Songs from Jeff Buckley' compilation album at the moment.
Also, Nick Drake's 'Pink Moon' and 'Five Leaves Left'. 'Bryter Layter' is a little too jazzy for my liking, it doesn't fit his style.
I'm trying to decide what albums I want from 'The Beatles'. I'm sick of my current stuff.

Favourite specific songs at the moment?
Things Behind the Sun - Nick Drake
Norwegian Wood - The Beatles
Hallelujah - Jeff Buckley
Fatal Tragedy - Dream Theater
Bittersweet - Apocalyptica
Hero of War - Rise Against

Love the Immigrant Song.

Won't Get Fooled Again is probably still my favorite song though...it's overplayed I guess but I still love it :)

Careful. This link is DANGEROUS. Do NOT click it. This one, however, is fine.

Tears Dont Fall by Bullet For My Valentine

Man, I love BfmV
Might I suggest listening to 10 years today? That's their best song, imo

my list

10 years today by Bullet for my Valentine
Poison by Alice Cooper
The Scorpion by Megadeth
All nightmare long by Metallica
One by Metallica (can't decide between the two)
Re-eduction (through Labor) by Rise Against
Wie wird man seinen schatten los? from the musical Mozart!
Confrontation from the musical Jekyll & hyde
Prologue (dutch) from the musical Les Misérables
Avoir une fille from the musical Roméo et Juliette

and a lot of songs that missed that tiny extra bit to get on this list.
If the above post offended you in any way,
please take note that, until further notice, I don't care, so get lost.
