Hi there i downloaded your mod already and i liked the earlier versions very much :D

But with the new version i have a problem:
First: i have Bfme2 original and patch 1.06
So i copied the folder into C/... and so on
then i fixed the shortcut so it matches with my bfme2 folders
And now if I start the game, the SEE picture appears then the screen turns black and suddenly im back in windows and get that game.dat error

PS: Im german so sry for my bad english hope you understand it ^_^

[size=3]EDIT: The Problem was you cannot play the mod with BFME installed on german ;)

you can close this topic now....

griffin646 are you trying to start a new SE Mod game or playa saved SE Mod game? Also, if you have any pre existing BFME2 games, dont save SEE games "over the top" of them; have to be a separate file.

Can you specify what the problem is you are having?
Thanks

Basically, I downloaded it, saved all of the files and such and followed the instructions (correctly--at least, I'm pretty sure), but when I try to open it (it hasn't worked at all yet), the comp pops up with a game.dat what-ever-it-is-the-heck-thing message. Which, unfortunately, I haven't a clue how to read....

Hello griffin646, may I ask a few more questions?

Will it do this when you start BFME2 without the SEE Mod?

Where did you place the SEE Mod folder?

Is BFME2 patched to v1.06 ?

Thanks.

Yes I have read the new instructions if that is what you mean. Is the C:\ thing at the end of the target thing of any consequence cuz I just noticed I didn't have it there?

With such litte information is pretty much impossible to help you... I'm sorry. If I was you and if I really wanted to play this mod, I'd look thoroughly through this Support forum and look for answers. Someone's bound to have hade the same problem as you. Good luck

Try uninstalling SEE Mod (and other mods) and BFME2 then reinstall BFME2 and patch to 1.06.
install SEE Mod per instructions.

Today the bug allowed me to play in peace. I was able to play on the modded version but nothing was different from the regular version of BFME2.
