wen i go into the game there is just pink everywere at first i thought ud changed all the art to crapy pink then i started a game and instead of a map i had a pink square with a 5 for the powers and instead of terrain i got black with a bunch of pink squares floating around

My thoughts would be video card settings are incorrect or that hardware is incompatible with running the game, but someone else on here might have the silver bullet

It has nothing to do with the card...

Your/his Asset is defect. The Asset.dat is a file in the mod that tells the game where to find all the art (images, textures and skins). If it's broken, then the game won't know where all the art is and all modded things display without their textures. The models in game are pink before the textures are applied. So the Asset has to work...

I say, reinstall, or even donwload again. Perhaps the mod is broken in the transfer.

You seem to be the only one experiencing this...?

Is your game an original copy?
Have you patched to EA BFME2 Patch 1.06?

yer unless eb games sell pirated games

and yes i have patch 1.06


maybe u could upload just the asset file onto the net and give me a link
or tell me how to change the asset file to work

Unpack this and try putting this Asset.DAT over the one you got in SEE folder...

If his won't work... I dunno. This is my asset and the mod runs perfect for me...

This hot pink look happened to me. As suggested, reinstall the game and reapply the patch.
