If you only want to create normal multiplayer maps, then no.

BTW: Scale down that signature image, it's huge.

If you're mapping why do you want to open the .big files?

I'm not sure that you can actually edit the maps made by EALA...

Regarding your signature: Daz' sig is less high and it's his only one, your whole signature takes about twice that space. Second, don't lie to me, you have been asked to reduce the size before. Please just be reasonable and do it, it's not much you're being asked for.

The mod sdk won't provide any way of opening bigs. If you actually look at the main site, ie, look for yourself, a) there's a guide tell you how to do this and b) Banshee has his OS Big editor that you can use.

Your sig is now much shorter. And as people have said, just check the website, it's got tutorials on how to get things from the BIG files, and where to get a BIG extractor.

Well, when it comes to writing an expository essay about counter-insurgent tactics, I'm of the old school. First you tell them how you're going to kill them. Then you kill them. Then you tell them how you just killed them.
