yes, seems like a violet-y sorta colour

Looks blue to me, not possible to have purple... unless red and blue make purple, but probably doesn't. tongue.gif

ive seen purple lighting, in the map editor there are invisible purple lamp posts, im sure of it, so why couldn't this be purple?(or are there restrictions on combat lighting?)
(oh, and are you just joking around about that red and blue not making purple, or have there been times where lighting has done weird things?)


oh, and i think the tank would look better without the green and red dots on the tips of the cannons


but its hard to say which one is better out of the two...

Well Combat Lightning of Genesis weapon is actually blue but it looks slightly purplish in that screen.

Well i got some buildings from Enemy at the Gates mod (If i remember correctly these are public stuff.) tho i have modified/recolored them and their original cameos a bit,for example war factory is more grayish and removed chinese flags etc. from them,so i am not sure should i use them.) You also may spot PHANTOM MCV in picture. Looks familiar ehh :) ? (Perhaps i should make custom one.)

Radar/Airpad needs little fixing,as you see top-left corner is cut out,i think it is the shadow which covers it?
Also i notice quite lots of overlapping problems with buildings. I dont really have very much knowledge about building tags in ArtMD.ini and ModEnc doesnt cover very much about them,id like to hear if you have solution (if there is one.)

Thinking about what i should use as conyard/possible superweapon structures..I already have idea for primary superweapon.. :)

editing of the work of the work is fine (as seen in RS 1.99) as long as due credit is given as you have (and nice edits too)

as for overlap not too sure myself to be honest.

one thing though, with the war factory it looks to thin(and yes, i know thats how it is)

it doesn't really matter, but i just noticed it(i think its cause it doesn't have a base or any 'objects' along the side)

objects like little pipes going into the ground, or barrels along the side

i quickly got the image and cut out a bit from the side of a yuri war factory:

From intelligence report we can tell that magnetron-alike thing is called Mindtwister,generating up huge tornado-like spiral of psychic energy. That small vehicle,is Magnitude..some kind of suicide psychic charge-releasing vehicle..(sounds familiar :p ? Original ideas ftw) Also that double-barreled tank..we are not sure what it is..maybe Yuri's counterpart to that huge PHANTOM Genesis Tank? ( It was intended to be bigger,but it is too small :/ No way to resize it a little bit without totally remake?)

Credits to Lefthand for Mindtwister voxel,Speeder and MO for Magnitude idea and RA2Killer for Mindtwister weapon anim

I tried to make sounds for PHANTOM Savant unit..turned out quite well imo but my spelling sucks :p .

You can resize your voxel using the voxel bounds in the header. In VXLSE, just go to Section -> Voxel Header then the tab Misc and edit the bounds there.

Anyway, nice voxels and imo the tank is already a good size. Also really like the blue core on the MAD Tank Graveller psychic demo truck. :p

First time I saw MO MAD Graveller, later I saw FS mobile EMP (it was recolored to MO MAD Grav.).
But your's variant looks pretty futuristic. :grin:

BTW, Messiah's return R1 is on some 85%. The reason for this name will be probably shown in some later release.
I am afraid, these new mods showing on revora are gonna get ahead of mine. :umad:

Mindtwister,when deployed it generates some kind of tornado from psychic energy. For some reason it doesnt affect your own units,but enemy vehicles and infantry should not go near it if they want to stay alive. (Weapon is subject to change.)
If someone wants to know,this is also Psi-Corps specific "country-unit".

Disorder Tank,powerhouse of Yuri's army. Shooting toxin charges containing mutagenic materials, all infantry exposed to shots will be turned into Brutes. It is also quite effective against structures and vehicles,tho t doesnt stand against aerial threaths. Due to expensive materials and research,only five can be build at once (BuildLimit may be changed in future,also weapon needs 'little' balancing because it does quite too much damage at once :rolleyes: )

Basic tech tree of PHANTOM is nearly finished,lacking proper miner idea,superweapons and their respective structures and AA infantry. As you see ive already done units to other sides too (well atleast to Yuri.),expect to see more in future.

Also,ive been wondering are there any other special conditions than AltPalette=yes tag on when NPatch animation custom palettes do not work?

I may apply for hosting in near future too.(and hopefully get hosted.).But dont expect any cool website as my HTML and CSS skills are at level of beginner :grin: . Though,first i have to give original and good sounding name for my project.

I dunno, the Yuri scheme, both dark and light versions, always strike as extremely ugly. The Allies used a light blue while the Soviets used gray, but Yuri just has that ugly colour clash....

Think the problem is that Yuri's Yellow/Brown is too strong compared to the nutral (grey) and cold (blue) colours of the two other sides.

But then again, your mod hardly seems like any attempts at such falbergahsting concepts at 'realism' and 'minimalism' that you have to worry too much. Some times you need a revolutionizing mod with good concepts, other times you need total carnage and a bunch of imprssive units.
