Sometimes some sacrifices must be made in the name of justice, peace and freedom. But he is strong and just who has nothing more to lose.

Cut them off from all resources. They might cut off their oil, but I doubt they can survive in total isolation. Once they see they have nothing we want, they might be easier to persuade in an attempt to seek bargain material. I believe war is not an option, but there are plenty more methods of diplomacy.

Man, Im from the Middle East. I got here in Canada with my family. Its hell in places like Iran. Saudi Arabia may be bad, but in my old city of Tehran, we were hit by police, whipped, and everything else. So I really do hate the Middle East even if it is my Country I was born in.

Saying immediate intervention is wrong is easy to say when your not one of those women, homosexuals, whatever in Saudi Arabia being oppressed.

What gives you the right to dictate another country's policy to the point that you'll attack them if they don't do as you say? Who put you in charge?

The US and Europe could completely ignore the Saudis for the rest of eternity and they would be just fine, until the oil runs out. That is because regardless of western moral values, China would jump at any opportunity to be the only guy buying oil from the Kingdom. They aren't going to cut off relations over a silly little thing like human rights abuses.

It is not silly. these are humans lives who are being opressed under a corrupt government and seriously need help.

Honestly IMO, he's correct. The spice must flow and the world will turn the other cheek to insure that happens.

I needn't say anything else, rather repeat my previous statement - and all you need do is scroll up to re-read.

And don't think I'm some sort of gung-ho American neo-con...I don't even support Democracy, regardless, I completely and utterly hate Islamic/Christian arrogance/bigotry and sexism, so really, the "right" to do something is subjective to them, so it's subjective to me. I choose what I think is right, I have morals.

And yeah, your going to probably say "So using your logic, you support Bush?"

Well...put it this way, I hate him because of what hes doing to my country, what the Republicans are doing, and also because his motive for going into Iraq is obviously not primarily to put in Democracy, also the fact he massively mis-calculated and turned it into a clusterfuck.

That, and the fact he hypocritically allied with Saudi Arabia which is ten times worse than Saddam's regime ever was.
