I want to add a hero from one mod to the other but am completely stuck,
do i need another program apart from 'finalbig'?
i thought it was just a matter of copying and pasting a heroes ini files from one to another.
say for example, i want to take from 'wars of the east' mod, the king of the dead and make him playable in 'rj-rotwk', what do i do?
all the animations, models, and anything needed are there aren't they, but i am clueless on how to transfer them over to the other mod
any suggestions?
taking a hero from one mod and putting it into another

King of the Dead needs no new animations/models/skins, so you can easily make him playable just by copying his ini

Excellent, but i used that as the wrong example...
its from the last alliance mod, i want to put gil galad in your wars of the east mod, and i copied the ini file via the 'finalbig' program, added him to buildable heroes, and ran the game, but he didn't even show up when you click on the fortress to build heroes....
Any answers?

Answer: wait. Gil-galad will be in the Final release of WotE
Actually that's a stupid reply, but maybe someone else will have time to explain...

well, if all you want to accomplish is get king of the dead into rj, then i can tell you to just wait. he will be in the gondor alliance from the inn in a couple more releases. of course, your way would be quicker, but you wouldnt be able to play online
