Setting up a community is tough, and there is a great chance it will fail within the first month(s). It's important to find a niche for your community, something that others don't cover, or not enough.
TBG's forum has two potential niches that could help with the succes of the community:
1. Mapping. Our mapping element has improved, but clearly isn't our strongest point. Right now it may not be better than our offer, but if they develop that element, that's one niche.
2. Free chatting. T3A is quite strict about forum etiquette (No cursing, no sensless posts, etc.). It keeps the forums clean and we all want to keep it that way. Still, these 12 other members they already have, and I think there are more to be found, would appreciate having a place where they can escape strict rules (once in a while), to just forget about them and chat with eachother as they like. The Green Dragon only gives freedom to do so up to a certain point.
If TBG's forums can fill in that second niche, I don't mind this advertisement at all. As long as everyone remembers that at T3A you need to follow forum etiquette, or face the consequences. (Generally up to 2 warnings, then followed by a 3 day suspension.)

Dain's just joking about the "Swear fest topic" you spoke of, which I thought you were joking about... Just be more relaxed in the forum rules and you'll have a good niche, no need to set up a place for swearing really.
