Nah we are not talking about war. The war on Afganistan was kind of "fair" as he destroyed most of al quedas network and freed the people, but he needs to finish the job.
Iraq is different on the other hand, there is way more too it that Bush is letting on.

And then if you're right about him being told to do things, then the point of a president is a waste, and this country would not be a democracy. the people decided that he was the best candidit ( and he wasn't... but neither was Gore...) so if he is being told what to do, it was a waste to hold an election, a waste to have a president, and this government was a waste of time. so I think you're wrong.
do you really think bush sat there as a dozen advisors told him that invading iraq would be stupid and pointless then just ignored them all and did whatever he wanted? someone told him there was a reason behind all this.
..and Gore actually won the popular vote...

Except for the fact that, by 2010, a bipartisan and independent group found that it was likely that we'd be hit by a WMD. That includes Nukes, plagues and chem. weps. Anyways, we're actually less safe. In case you hadn't noticed, it takes al-Qaeda a long time to get much of anything planned, but when they do...
You crack me up, man. That's one of the craziest conspiracy theories I've heard in a while. "Al-Qaeda are going to nuke us from their caves in the mountains! And then drop anthrax on the survivors!" I'm sure I'm not the only one who spotted the flaws in this apparently seamless plan. Also, 2010 is next year. You're saying that we'll all be dead by the end of this year, in effect. Forgive me if I hold out a little more hope for the future.
I would also like to second Fen's motion.

You can't say:Meh, for all his stupidity, there has been no further attacks on the US itself since 9/11. Even though he's a moron, he deserves some credit for that.
A = Bush is president.
B = No further attacks since 9/11.
Therefore, A made B possible.

That's highly irrelevant.You could have done better?
It's the same as when a writer asks people if they could've done better when his work isn't well-received. I disagree with Bush, and I probably would've failed harder running America. I'm inexperienced, after all.
Edit: And a socialist.

Though I agree (about Elrond), I don't agree with the following:
You can't say:Meh, for all his stupidity, there has been no further attacks on the US itself since 9/11. Even though he's a moron, he deserves some credit for that.
A = Bush is president.
B = No further attacks since 9/11.
Therefore, A made B possible.
That's why I said some credit
