2) The Istari alliance doesn not let recruit the Istari. It's to make the Istari stay longer if you summon them using the 25pp.


Nope.

It enables their powers once you summon them.

Hi I think I ve found another bug, (it maybe the bug from vanilla bfme) :

When I recruit a hero in RTS, then in tactical map he acts as normal garrison unit, not a hero - eg. he cannot attack the enemy territories, he has no portrait on the banner. And its getting even worse: this hero cannot be of course recruited from the fortress on the tactical map, so he is completely useless.. :-/

it isn't a bug.. there are 2 kind of hero.. nothing more ;)

ya, not all heros are army leaders so the ones you get from a fortress in the tactical map or in the rts map are not army leaders. its just to prevent people from winning simply because they have more leaders (elves, mordor, etc.)

well....actually for this case it isn't no. But in some circumstances it can be a bug. My posts in page 9 tell what I speak of. Whether or not there's some sort of connection I don't know.

It's also to prevent the game from breaking ;)

Any more than four armies of the same faction in a battle, the reinforcements thing breaks and the game crashes.

i found a bug with angmar when u fight or be angmar and summon karsh if he is attacking or doing anything except standing in a spot he has no death animation and slowly goes underground

Playing as Mordor in historical WotR as soon as I select Mouth of Sauron the game crashes

The same happened to me...
And I only hope that in 1.06 release will have these bugses fixed...

WotR often crashes after about 10 minutes. Also, Arwen has no hero description when you recruit her from the fortress, and doesn't work in WotR. And when Celeborn dies, the Revive icon is that of Elrond.

When does WOTR crash? When the new heroes lose an auto-resolve battle, it crashes, but if something different is happening, please explain it a little better.

At the moment there are many things which can cause wotr to crash on auto-resolve. Best to just avoid using auto-resolve at all :p Game's more fun that way too...

Some new units such as Prince Imrahil have no death animation, and some new heroes such as Búrzalog provide no experience when killed. Also, the Legolas summoned using the Three Hunters power for Rohan cannot use his Hawk Strike. And Hama's Hero Aid drink power doesn't work, although this may have been fixed already.

I have a problem when i play the WOTR RJ campaign and i move my guys or a movie begins my screen goes red but the game still plays i sm unsure if this happens through out the campaign because i can't see to win in moria. I have all the updates im using the new beta mod moved the video files form BFME1 and it is still going red.

Some new heroes such as Radagast cannot be targeted using abilities such as Asassin or Athelas.

This may not have to do with the subject but which ai sides are finished and which ones aren't because I have Isengard as the AI and they don't attack Helm's Deep

isengard should be fine as we havnt really messed around with em too much. are they making units but just not sieging? because thats not all taht unusual. if its not doing anything at all then we suddenly have a problem...

i believe rohan and mote are the only ones that dont work at all (except for the elves in our beta; eventually yours as well) except for rj maps iirc.

Sooo...that early summer release beta? I think you ought to wait another few months and make it an annual release.
