I've tried my hand at making some Cameo's recently. I personally think they're OK. What do you guys think?

also did you import images in SHP builder and then use cameo generator and finally saved them in a shp?
what palette did u used?

Well, There is an issue with the SU Cameo. It look's a little bit... Pixelated. I Know what that happened though. I Can fix that.

The SU 50 looks like a F22 raptor... but good work
and thx again for the Blaster cameo...

EDIT :: Looks like the SU cameo is a screenshot from the USA mission in Zero hour...

I Doubt it. EA Just wasn't capable enough at that time to make a decent looking 3D Aircraft. Like most people, I always base my cameo's off screenshots, The SU Image was a concept in a post of a new voxel on PPM, I just took it, gave it some minor edditing and turned it into a cameo. With the 'Blaster Tank' (I Still think that's an aweful name), I took another screenshot from a mission breifing, resized the image so it wasn't pixelated (Which was my issue with the SU), changed the colour of the sky, made the image smoother using PhotoShop and transformed it into a cameo. It's simple really...

Bevel effect looks inconsistent with RA2 style and the aircraft one doesn't stand out well enough from the back ground IMO. Since Secret didn't give any useful comments and clearly cannot do better him/her self I'd simply ignore his/her comments.

well i edited that post cuz i discovered that my cameos had some problems even after using cameo.pal
thats 1.
2.You could done better cuz:-the SU looks at my compuer black and white
-the blaster tank could have been sharpen(not this image the original one without text )

Agreed. These where my first cameo's, so I'm still learning. I Personally don't think I did too bad for my first try.

I was thinking of making a new one... then again.. i could use one made by someone else.. that would save time and energy..

The base image was a shot of the marauder tank. I Gave the tank it's self some minor editing, along with the background.

Looks good but you need a better shine thing... what Blade said which I'd do in Photoshop or something and also a less heavy text bar - it's too dark atm imo, at least for the lighter cameo.

secret... shut the hell up Who are you to critisise Aro's cameos, your attempts are nothing to rave over...

@ Aro - Very good first cameos there.
- The SU-50 is pretty well done although the sky is quite similar to the aircraft colour
- The blaster tank is good too, maybe change the background for it slightly. I found that red skies dont suit cameos too much lol.
- Also like Blade said the bevel effect doesn't work for cameos. Either do as i do and keep the cameo Raw (i.e no bevel and glass effect) or use a glass effect mask on it

Well, Aro, the Su-50 cameo has too long of a name And yeah, make the sky a bit bluer etc. Ravager tank is nice, but too pixelated and as stated above, the sky is redish. Change it to something else and it's be fine.
