So I was just playing through it an hour or so ago... and then watched the parts of the movie involving that fateful battle, and was wondering: Is there any way to "add" gates leading to the second level?

As is, if you lose the first level of the city to the horde of orcs, as I did, you literally have to spam soldiers to defend that damned stairwell. A Gate wouldn't only provide a "last line of defense," as it were, but liken it to the movies a little more as well.

But, that's enough of my ramblings. Thoughts?

I'd go with 2d3, 3d6, 1/2d7, 1d10, 14d12, 8d20, 13 quarters, and a groundhog.

I'm not sure if you'll need all that, but if you figured out a system from it, it would be the greatest in the world.

If the above post offended you in any way,
please take note that, until further notice, I don't care, so get lost.

I'm sorely tempted, then. Time to... apprentice to a modder. heh. Or at least, find an instruction manual.
