Excellent work dude! I really love some of the work you've done with the creatures particularly, and the work on Durin the Deathless is amazing, seems just to flow. :shiftee2: Now that I know you can skin, I may think of other uses for you with TOTR if you're up for the challenge :)

Well, of course this would be a great honour. But I'd like to take new challenges in small steps. :shiftee2:

Let's just stick to the 2D-Art for now. Later, when I'm a bit more established, then we can take it to the next level.

Hopefully yes. ^^
There are two versions: Edain for RotWk and Edain1 for BfMe1.

I'm skinning for both, but of course Glorfindel for example will only be seen in the RotWk-Version. ^^

My critique:

Great Erkenbrand texture, fits in nicely with Eomer/Theoden, but still stands out nicely from them. I don't care for the red shield however, if you must keep it red, desaturate it.

I say make the Galadhrim armor more gold. I know it's just Haldir's armor fitted to the Galadhrim, but make the armor more gold. That's one thing that bugged me about it. Also, desaturate the cloak slightly. It's way too blue. It supposed to be a bluish-grey darker tone.

Erkenbrand looks fine, maybe you could get better scale armor for him  (it's very blurred atm..)
The shield is fine, I think that I'd add a metal edge, and remove the lines between the planks, so that it's only one big plank circle, if that makes sense :crazed:
Like this:

And I think the red is fine, but the yellow needs some adjustments.. And the yellow logo thing could also be a little smaller, so it doesn't cover the whole shield..

Thanks guys. ^^

Like already mentioned, Erkenbrand is purely inspired by his decipher card design. And so is his shield
But you're right with the golden paintings. I'll try to reduce them.

@Kwen about the Galadhrim:
Well... I took a second look at my source pictures and now I totally agree with you. Damn, those cloaks are far to blue. :crazed:
Thanks for pointing this out to me.

Well, since you're talking about the shield, you do notice that it isn't divided up in planks, but is basically just a single surface?
And if it is, it's really hard to see... ;)
But most Rohan shields are that way

Erkenbrand's armor looks great. My only real criticism is that it looks far more like Theodred's armor than Erkenbrand's. Erkenbrand's armor had brown facing, Theodred had the green.

I've noticed that you've already done Theodred with the brown armor, so perhaps you could just switch the faces, though it's all up to you.

Huh? Well, I see subtle black lines at the shield which I thought were the edges of the planks.
I kinda like the shield that way anyways. ;)

those dwarves look amazing... if you have those guys as well as that model with mattocks instead of swords, it could also work for the iron hills dwarves.

Hmm, do you don't like that it's supposed to be blond, or that it's rather yellow than blond? ^^

The dwarves of Ered Luin have characteristic fair hair in Edain. So there can't be much done about it.
