hello i tryed the mod(war of the east) and it's really the best mod there is.i'm a soooo big fan now.i can't stop playing it.soo much to build and balanced.and the new ring heroes are cool.only think the men side is to weak.and i found one bug that if i build the tower guards from the faction men.they don't appear on screen but i can select them and attack whit them.i only can't see them.(o i read on a other topic it's fixed in the next beta).and i can't build custom heroes.i did put it off in skirmisch settings.i tryed all factions there are some skills from heroes that don't have sound but it's a beta ofcourse.

but does the mod team need new testers?cause this mod really rocks and i like to help.

First of all, welcome to the forums :)

Second...

A) Tower Guard bug will be fixed in the next Beta :scars:

B) the CaH bug is also BUGging us, Ithron is desperately trying to find a way to fix it. We can only hope it will be fixed in good time, but most likely, the next Beta will still have that bug. Be patient about that one.

C) some powers don't need sounds in the first place, if ya' ask me :p however, it's up to Ithron to decide about this.

D) the next Beta will be a PUBLIC Beta, so probably we won't need any newer Beta Testers, people will get the Beta all at once :good:

E) if you still wish to help us, then:

- find as many bugs as possible so we can fix them !
- if there's a good idea (unit/power/etc.) you have for this mod, then feel free to post it !
- be a loyal fan :p

"Well, I can't argue with that - modding IS hard. But what would have become of games like Starcraft, Warcraft 3, Dungeon Siege, Half-Life 1-2, Neverwinter Nights and BfME 1-2 if we, modders, weren't there ? They would have long been forgotten. Modding is hard, but it's an honorable thing." - MorrisB

A.well i still want to help but posting bugs that are already fixed maybe is a waste of time i better play the mod in a fun way then.

B.i will think for some idea's don't know one yet.

C.the next beta is february? sry that i ask in my second post but i'm so exited about this mod.

A) Correct way of thinking :scars:

B) I'll be waiting for it :good:

C) Well, Ithron (the Mod Leader) says he might be able to finish the Beta by the end of January with Caluadan and Grizzlez backing him up, but due to my experience in life, I'd say February, because it's more certain that we'll have the Beta finished by then. So, in short: probably, YES.

He's not a bad n00b, he introduced himself and asked for help. You can't expect someone to find your topic elvenfury if he's new to the forums.

I'd like to welcome you too. If you didn't know yet, I'm the leader of the mod

Look, how many of us are English or American (from USA) in the WotE Staff ? I can hardly see even one. I'm from Hungary, Ithron is from Finnland, Caluadan from Sweden... we ourselves can't handle English language perfectly. So don't be sorry for that.

As for elvenfury, you shouldn't take him seriously. He often talks weird things

I don't think it will be neccesary, elvenfury. We (or rather, ME :p ) already answered his questions

<Sigh>... I LOVE these forums ! They bring people from different cultures together.
