My account seems to refuse to remember my login details, and will consistantly log me out pretty much every time I visit Revora. I have gone and deleted my Revora cookies, however is there any other actions that I can perform to restore the functionality of the "Remember Me" checkbox?

I suppose this is because of the stronghold cookie. We should consider disabling it, at least to see if that is the reason...

That post would contain more relevance to us revora plebs if you actually told us what stronghold was :thumbsupsmiley:

Kilkakon, have you tried in a different browser?

I'm not an IPB technician. All I know myself is what the ACP tells me and what more informed people mentioned already. Basically it adds an extra cookie with a certain hash, making cookie theft far more difficult apparently. As said, I'm not sure if it is the reason, but someone mentioned it.

All I use is IE6, and I haven't tried any alternatives.

Luckily, I actually remember this forum's password.

Hmm... I had to delete that stronghold cookie in my firefox, because the server wasn't accepting it due to its absurd size.

We had this problem on meaaov. I can't remember how i solved it. I'll go check the settings.

EDIT:

It appears on meaaov we removed all the cookie settings and just enabled stronghold cookies. IPB2.3 seems to have this lame problem however. Not sure if this would work on revora though.

On IG, we had this problem as well, it kept kicking us out the forums. Anyways IPS resolved this as Hybrid suggested, AFAIK anyways.

Well both IE6 and FireFox seem not to have working login.

Therefore, what action do you recommend that I take?

wow. I thought it was just me.
I've been using Firefox, other forums are fine but Revora seems to work at random. Sometimes I visit and it logs me in, sometimes it doesn't. (as a side note, didn't need to log in this time)

Done it to me twice today.
The problem is being looked into, and will hopefully be resolved with a planned IPB upgrade.

Hybrid has performed the upgrade. Hopefully this solves the log in issues.

Although the problem may not be fixed as of yet it seems to be improving as I was logged on as I arrived today.
