Unfortunately, the problem still persists. As I am ignorant of server or forum management I am afraid I can offer no solution, sort of reversing the upgrade (which is, of course, crazy).
In saying this, I haven't actually found a single feature added by the upgrade that I actually liked or found useful. Of course, this is merely a personal opinion and could most likely be wrong.

I also have a problem whenever I log in. (actually only IN this website. Not youtube or yahoo...).
Access Denied (license_expired)
A license has expired on the Proxy, and your request is not permitted: "The SGOS license has expired"
A new license must be obtained.
For assistance, contact your network support team.

Perhaps you have forums.revora.net in a filter that prevents the cookies from being kept?
If you can't find any filter, or don't know where to look, I'm afraid you'll have to wait for a more technical experienced staffmember...
btw. The feature that made all other additional features irrelevant was increased security.

Sorry for bump but I have another problem:
Whenever I log-in to the Revora Forums so I'm logged in, but if I go to other topic or forum I automatically log-out or it says "you are not logged" in when I'll post or download something. So if I'll refresh the page sometimes it will work and sometimes not. It shows my logged in as: darknessvolt.
I'm using IE7 and have sloooow internet. Like I only have 512 to 712 Kbps speed. Globelines Broadband.

Every once in a while, I get logged out here when visiting for the first time in a browser session. This started about a week ago, and is still happening (as it just happened now). This time could be explained if the system locks cookies to an IP, as I just moved back to my dorm, but the other times I should have been on the same IP.

Yesterday I encountered the same issue as you have.
As far as I'm aware, I didn't change a thing, so I'm quite stumped on what the cause is, let alone what would solve it. :(
