Branch: Soviet Liberation Army
Tactical Overview: Infantry

Discipline in body and mind makes up this general's army. Feel the wrath that built our weapons today and still empower us with supplies. He's ranking officers are the best of the best he could ever pull. Witness as a large army of infantry brings down the mighty 'Infantry Anvil' on an enemy base. Using veteran infantry combat divisions and armored transports, he'll make sure to surround your base with bullet shells all around.

• All infantry start at veteran level.
• Infantry Cost less to produce.
• Both Rhino tanks and Apocalypse tanks are unavailable.

Prerequisite: Soviet Barracks, Soviet Radar
- Super Ivan's now uses sticky bombs, range increased by 3
- Can now be suicide detonate on command by deploying
- Movement speed increased by 2
- Explosion increased from the normal 400 to 500
Credit: Speeder/Mental Omega (SHP bomb projectile)

Boris
Cost: $1500
Prerequisite: Soviet Barracks, Soviet Battle Lab
- Boris airstrike flare now increased range
- Mig Airstrike increased, Green is now 4, Elite is now 8.

Bison Light Tank
Cost: $700
Prerequisite: Soviet War Factory
- a rhino tank refit for Infantry General
- Speed is decreased, and added vehicle acceleration
- armor is reduced
- Allows only 1 passenger and can fire outside

- Improved armor
- Passengers can fire outside.

- Hind can transport upto 3 infantry. (terror drone also)
- Infantries can fire outside
- Missile Racks was replaced with AP chain guns

- Garrisons 8 infantry
- Improved armor
- Takes less damage against High Explosive warheads

Ivan with SUPER(well not that super :p) explosive pack is kinda ok for this general since you remove the demo gen. :popcorn:
But a super engineer???? WTF! :thumbsupsmiley:

I think boris doesnt need the extra migs at all ._. maybe more health and the range is enough.

like its still an idea... well having the engineer some sort of new abilities...instead of defusekits as his weapon...

May I suggest using the a brick style bunker around the red guard? It's both more soviet style, and isn't already taken by another unit.

bricks dont seem very realistic, i mean, sand bags are realistic enough, they are cheap, easy, and good protection

bricks on the other hand.. where would they come from, its not like soldiers are just going to carry bricks around the place with them
and where would a the bricks come from if they weren't already carrying them? sand bags are filled with dirt on the spot, bricks need to be cooked, and bricks would break, sand bags have some give in them and stop the bullets



so if you want you can have bricks, and i know realism isnt one of YR's strong point, but i still think sand bags make more sense, just a little re-model and re-colour

Don't even get me started on the realistic factor. Sure, Having to carry around bricks doesn't seem very logical, but you do actually know how heavy sandbags are, right? It'd be literally impossible for one soldier to carry all those sandbags that the GI digs it's self into, also, when was anything in RA2 ever realistic?
