and you do realize they wouldn't carry filled sand bags, when dirt is right there where they are standing

and i also said, whatever, im just saying its more realistic with sand bags, and besides, its just for the infantry general, and the idea is that he is copying the idea from the allies isn't it? so sand bags seems ok to me...

notify,due to the fact its an infantry general,Their psychical strength would be higher,so they could carry more sandbags

Well, without tanks.. Is he going to be able to withstand a large group of tanks? Course, he seems somewhat more like the type to defend an area. Like, maybe make a tesla trooper do that thing that Devastator posted or make something close to the battle fortress, maybe just not crush or something. Just random thoughts, but I don't want to get brushed by a group of tanks. :wink_new:

Good point Rentt Redwood. This gen. should get the best tesla weapon for support to take care of large group of tanks. ;)
Think about this gen. vs the tank gen., he will loss to the tank gen. easy :wink_new: (especially in some maps that has no civilians buildings to garrison :lol: )
The infantry gen. will be the weakest gen. in the game! :wink_new:

the main issue with inf gen is that inf can't fire on the move unlike tanks, so he needs some good inf support vehicles or anti-tank/aa weapons

Like those Vulcan Tanks geno had for the old Infantry General, it's like Gi's usual machine gun, but on wheels... wait isnt IFV supposed to do that? But maybe another light tank which would be anti infantry

LOWER COSTS FOR IFV!!! (for this general at least)

to come back at the vech rushers,GN should bring in Advanced tesla trooper for that...

I understand. Give this gen. some light tanks or a bunkered vehicles like in zero hour. :p

oops i forgot that the Soviets are Soviets sorry for the IFV idea...
Though maybe a Light Tank 'like' the IFV for this general?

Maybe soviet jeeps? (Machine Gun as a weapon, 2 passengers?) or just Machine Gun for scouting and all

if you make infantry gen's infantry uncrushable, then they would be a lot better against tanks


would that be a good way to go or not?

just for a case for a sea battle,how about a combat hoover transport?
infantry can fire out,but not vechs,and a little less capacity,or else u would own the sea wit it

oh yeah, in addition with the light tank... give Infantry more 'infantry' units.

Cosmonauts would be one...
A Long Range Sniper would be another.

....

Maybe giving Soviets 'Cloning Vats' back.
:p

I played with Infantry General yesterday... and clearly it wasnt good for Naval assaults.
Now that i think about it, a Naval Vessel that houses some units would be nice (For Land/Air Assaults)
Infantry General might take a while in getting used to... since your defense(s) would rely mostly on Hinds, Red Guards.. and that's mostly it... since Flak Traks / Seige Chopper (Deployed) are behind most of those holds. (Well my strategy anyways.)
Actually, Copters of Infantry General should get an upgrade, since if they dont use big tanks, then they'll rely on support fire from the sky. (Maybe just 1 star)

The Tesla Tanks... i used that thing for base defense. but they get destroyed by Yuri's Red Rage Thing...

I might try playing infantry general again, see what it can do in a land environment, though it doesnt look promising (So i'll notch down the enemies to only 2 Brutals)

or something like, Guardian GI, that can deploy themselves (... yeah well Flak Troopers are kinda... useless unless they're inside the base), though the Advanced Tesla Troopers arent bad.

Oh and i've just fixed my YM, but no sign of geno :/
