Hello, just a couple of questions

Question 1: I would like to modify the text labels and descriptions but I can't find them, I assumed they would be located in English.big but no such luck. I just want to fix a couple of typos I have found. Can someone help me out?

Question 2: I have modified the region bonuses (population & power) for the good campaign, when i select Moria it now displays "MISSING:". I removed the power point from Moria and gave it to another region. Can I fix/remove this error text?

Question 3: I am still learning the basics so this might be out of my league but, I would like to modify the AI so that they rebuild their destroyed structures, they only seem to rebuild sentry turrets. Can I do this?

1: The file you are looking for is 'lotr.str' or 'lotr.csf' (the last one you should convert to .str for easy editing ---> Tutorials on the main page).
2: ?
3: Modding the AI involves a whole different kind of modding using WorldBuilder scripts. As far as i know, the AI already rebuilds structures that are damaged. You just have to leave the AI base alone for a while. Once the perceived threat is low enough, the AI rebuilds economy structures.

Ok, so I have read through the tutorial and have moved Aragorn and the Anduril spell to the Gondor faction in skirmish, but the AI wont buy him. How can I fix it so that the AI will use him?

Also how do I add a buildcost to Orc Warriors, can't find the BUILD_FOR_FREE command, and I want to make it so that Orc Laborers don't use any command points but couldn't find them in the evilfactionunits.ini

Thanks again for the help you have given, I'm learning alot faster than I expected.

ok for your mordor orcs do the following:

open the file
data\ini\object\hordes\evilfactionhordes.ini

look for the section starting
Object MordorFighterHorde

go down and you will see this
BuildCost = MORDOR_FIGHTER_BUILDCOST

and then change
MORDOR_FIGHTER_BUILDCOST
to whatever you want, just type in a number and they will cost that much.

the orc laborer could be
Object MordorWorker

and then change
CommandPoints = 1
into
CommandPoints = 0

I do believe that you have to edit this through the maps. I could be wrong since I haven't messed with BFME1's files in a long time.

For the Orcs make sure you delete the BUILD_FOR_FREE kindof from the horde in data/ini/object/hordes/evilfaction.ini.
I think that is what it is called.
