I'm going out on a limb here, but since Elves were magical, perhaps they were used as sources somehow. :p Well, for gameplay sake at least.

And how is that logical or realistic at all? :p

True, it's really neither but I thought it was kind of neat all the same. I'd really like to see something to give the Elven bases a more foresty feel to them - not that Lorien isn't already awesome. ;)

Mirkwood building could be some sort of vineyards. If I remember well in the Hobbit there is wine produced by Mirkwood elves in Dorwinion. Sorry, if it's wrong I haven't read the books for a while.

The wine of Dorwinion was produced by men, not Elves, and reached Thranduil's Halls via trade through Laketown. My guess goes to either an orchard or a hunting lodge for Mirkwood's resource building.

Sounds good, but isn't someone else using a hunting lodge? ;) The orchard is good too, I find the idea of it humoring for Mirkwood. :)

I think the hunting lodge was in the works to be used for Mirkwood

There are multiple suggestions for what to use and I don't think it was decided.

Does anyone think the Battle Towers are too weak for both current Elf regions?

The Rivendell ones could certainly gain a health bonus.
I will remember Rhovanion Alliance, RIP .

A short suggestion

Mithlond faction for inn?
it should be capable of recruiting Sentries, archers, spearmen of the havens, Lindon horse archers.
maybe Cirdan for hero

Seeing as the rivendale ones are invulnerable to melee, no :)

I know, but couln't they work out as an inn faction for the elves?

Mithlond was never engaged military action during the War of the Ring, they were too far away, and too busy seeing to the Elves' exodus into the West. Whearas Mirkwood, Lothlorien and possibly Rivendell were at War with Sauron because they were closer to the Dark Lord's dominions.

We don't even know if there even was a military prescence in Mithlond, except during the Fall of Arnor

Right on, I also think that the battle towers are too weak.
BUt i do think that all buildings could do with a health bonus.

As for Lothlorien, i think trees that could support buildings for hundreds of years, would be able to withstand a litle bit more damage.
Perhaps you could boost the Lothlorien defense greatly, but give them a weakness to fire?
