I gotta admit though, STALKER looks amazingly badass and the I love the concept of it...

Halo2 won't be out for a good while on PC, but HALO (1) is sposed to be out soon which will be a definate snag for me... I still love that game

i don't think HL2 should be on there as you HAVE to get it theres no choice you get it or your a philastine (note to the less smart, thats an insult) i wanna get doom3 as well when i get my new grpahics card i am saving for it at the mo

they just take figurines, act out scenes, then take pictures of it

actually you'll be suprised abot how low the pixel count is, and lots of ppl have played it and their machines are inferior to my aluminium monster machine (i was talking about the computer) also i want homeworld 2!!!!!!

i've considered d/l'ing it... but i can't see anything fantastically new about it so I haven't invested the time... mostly since I'm more of an FPS fan

I probably won't buy any of them (so i didn't vote) but I think I'll end up owning a copy of all of them except stalker. Stalker has great graphics, but I just don't think I'm really interested in it (we'll see, maby i'll get a demo or something).

At college we have a few large multi-class rooms. In one i saw them teaching some old (30s - 50s) people how to use computers, so that thay could use there ones at work. Thay all came in once a week and were told how to use Word and Exel.
One week the room technition had not switched the computers on ready. All the old people sat in front of the black screen and moved the mouse. "Is it a screenprotecter?", "Try pressing space", "I'll use a diffrent one".
I sat back laughing
Thay were told about using Word and Exel, but not how to switch the computers on.

hehe... sounds like my mom... she can do excel... but I have to turn the computer off every night.... well I'm suppose to but my dad usually does, cuz I"m always on my computer

Played the doom 3 alpha, and in its early stages is was probably the most amazing thing ive seen from a video game. I feel like half life 2 is more scriptish, and doom 3 is more technology. The aiming engine for polygon contact, the whole phsyics/ragdoll engine, lighting engine, sound, everything just seems to come together. And half life 2 felt clunky, but pretty, but not as pretty as doom 3. What im trying to get at is hl2 is not near as good as doom 3 from my own experience

just picked up Hordes of the Underdark exp.

man that game just rocks... talk about easy to mod.
