No, its not Olli. Its up there, but nowhere near the harshest. Also, Jevhas, they probably aren't the best of friends if they go around insulting you like that. Unless, of course, your all at that one age where insulting is actually... fun. o_o

calling someone a cunt is quite an insult, but in a weird flip side to that it can also be quite a mark of respect between freinds, I call my mates cunts, basterds, assholes, f*ckwits, etc all the time, none of them mind, it's basically showing that I know them and trust them well enough and vice verca for no insult to be taken, that applies to both genders.

No where near as insulting as calling some one a C**t.
Fuck is an over used word. If I called some a "fucking dipshit" it doesn't have the same affect of calling them a "Cunt". I don't know about in USA, but in England Cunt is far worse. Too many louts and yobs yell something at you with "fuck" as every second word from across the street, its there way of trying to say "hello". Basically, the word has no effect.

Well I'm not in friggen england. You can't make a valid point if you don't even know how it is over here and how the culture difference is. Fuck -is- a common word, as is cunt... and basically every other 'Curse' word there is. Infact, if the person dosen't curse overhere, chances are good they are religious, or specail. Every alternative word should be a cuss word.

I'm from the US as well, and fuck's nowhere near the level of fuck at least where I live. No one really cares if you say fuck, I mean half of what people say to each other is some variation of "Ah, fuck off." It's actually usually a friendly thing to say. Now, say "Ah, fuck off you cunt" and you'll get your nose broke.
