Well they didn't steal copyright, they bought it when they bought the company out. They've bought out or absorbed plenty of companies.

For me personally I don't think a lack of EA (I've read they were pressuring about time alot) would have made TS any better because I just didn't like the game, no amount of polishing time would really have fixed that.
But that's just me.

tib sun could have been better with more time, but it was taking to long as it was, i heard it was using old stuff, and new stuff had come out since, meaning to make it even better they would have to re-do it

but i might be wrong, thats just what i hear somewhere

I don't think they would have changed any base elements of it, they kept the engine for RA2 remember.

I hate to say it, but this post makes no sense (to me at least).

ok then, for you i will try expaining it in more detail

tiberian sun could have been better with more time, but it was taking to long as it was to finish, i heard that it was using outdated graphics/engine/i-cant-remember-exactly-what, and that newer better things had come out since

meaning to make the game really better, they would have to basically re-make the whole thing... it had just taken to long to make

but i could be wrong, i just heard that somewhere... cause i swear i didn't dream it or anything

The performance was an issue when the game came out, although the visuals probably weren't as bad as people touted.

Performance was fixed quickly in a patch - the same graphics engine powered RA2 and noone complained.

The complaints probably stemmed from art style and scale.

Personally TS was visually way better than Ra2.

but RA2 was less depressing

i mean, TS was so barren, i wanted to see grass, like RA2 had

and RA2 was way better for its lighter attitude, i hope they don't take it to far with RA3

i loved how Romanov gets caught with his pants down, that was a great ending...

i watched the RA1 endings and they were so depressing, allies leave the dude there to die, and soviets everyone gets shot...

That's because when Westwood had input, the games were serious and not particularly cheesy. Then along came FireStorm and everything went to hell.

TS was meant to be barren. The world was kind of... ending... Tiberium had eaten up most of the plant life. And there was grass in TS. You're just not looking hard enough

not proper grass, just that dark green stingy looking stuff that came in rare little patches

i meant like full light green grass, like in RA2

and yeah i know, TS was suppose to be the apocalypse, but still, i think RA2 was better
(probably because it was newer and had a whole lot of stuff TS missed out on)
