Hey guys,

I'm working on a project with a few friends of mine, and a part of it includes building an online store to sell goodies and other products.

I'm thinking that using a CMS would be the best solution to easily manage the store and the products, but I wanted to get some feedback first.
After a first quick research, Joomla! seems pretty interesting and adaptable.

Have any of you ran an actual online store? Would you recommend any particular CMS?

I'm not a CMS expert, but there are specialist CMS's for webshops, so check those out before picking Joomla.

osCommerce is one of them. I don't really know it, but I've come across the name a couple of times. Might be worth looking into.
