What do you want in RA3?

Hi everybody, I'm back :p and this forums sounds really interesting:

What I wish for RA3? Oh well:

First of all: balance. All these 3 sides must be fairly different but should be equals in terms of chances to gain victory, so different technlologies, use of brute force/sneaky tactics is cool and I hope these factors will be carefully mixed in each side.

Then gameplay/fun: new cool functions for all units, no unit should be useless, and victory should be acheived with the best use of mixed units.

Then new cool units: battleships are sweet so amphibious vessels or versatile units like IFV etcc... but also special sub factions that give specific identities and cool strategies (somethink like at least 2 or 3 special units/upgrades/structures per sub faction).

Better hero units: if I build a hero then I would like to use a formidable unit with special abilities, not just an easily killable soldier (non like Warcraft 3 early heroes but something similar in advanced game).

Epic units? Maybe but they don't seem all the necessary.

Good airforce for each side, VTOL and not VTOL air units, areial battles, etcc...

Crazy technologies? Why not? :crazed:

Spies for each side and secret units available.

Just my 2 cents.

Good lord! Not seen you around in a LONG time, man. You just passing thru or sticking around this time? :p

(If don't remember me I was Comrade Jerkov awhile ago :p )

And what I want for RA3? For it to actually be a good game, unlike CNC3. I want graphics that actually befit a 2008 game, I want gameplay that puts Command and Conquer back on the map as the best RTS ever, as it should be. I want more than eight missions per side. I want it to not be plagued by the movie issues that CNC3 was. I want it to have some sort of originality, initiative and creativity in the sides and their units.

I want bigger scale battles with more shit happening all at once.

Oh. And I want a sidebar interface, not the shitty bottom-bar. :crazed:

Yes, several years passed since I was here stable, I guess now I can write it a bit more :crazed:

What a fool I've been! I've made the wishlist before reading the news, so some things like airforce, subfactions, technologies (no nuke and no prism/laser in favour of cryo/bears seems a bit absurd to mee or maybe I got too old for these games, who knows :p). now it's a problem called "number of missions per side" and only 8-10 sounds like to "Generalish" to me. At least 12-15 missions damnit!

For the rest, the articles that talk about ninja, anime, manga (which I like) make me quite astonished. Are all these themes appropriate for a RTS game like Red Alert? I've some doubts....

If RA3 will be a flop there's always Starcraft2 which looks promising :p

What i meant with cartoony... the Apoc tank for example or the main tank... come one i want something better.. that looks rubbish! I think they should use the old ra2 desing of it.. the one TX remade with voxels looks better then that 3d model...
