Well I reinstalled BFME1 after two years, came back to the old haunt, and discovered that the Rhovanion Alliance mod is still in development and looking absolutely stunning. Two years, but you guys have come out with some really impressive stuff in that time. Time well spent, IMHO!

I can't wait to play this mod, and I feel better knowing that there's still diehards out there like me :p

Hmm...I saw some of those posts after I'd written in here. It's a shame. Patience is a virtue, so they say, and I'd like to think I've been around long enough when it comes to BFME to know that the best mods are the ones which appreciate that effort = time.

The other important thing is that although this game may be old, I honestly don't think it's died or 'done with'. I went away for two years. Most games don't even last that long. I came back, not only to discover the online games are still going and there's a heap of people playing them, but that the mods are still about and some familiar faces too. It's as alive as it was when I left. So, I don't think another year or two, or whatever, will change all that much.

Keep up the good work! It's looking like it's paying off for sure :p

Actually, it's more like four years, but most of the work has been done in the last year or so if my memory hasn't failed again.

November 04 was when Whopper announced it and the first Gloin model came out, IIRC.

Yeah, but I don't think anything being used in the current beta is older than 2 years old, except for a couple of unused skins (the old Bilbo one is in the files for some reason :p).

I'm still haunting this forum and site every month....I keep checking in. So, I'm sure there are plenty of "silent die hards" like me, too. Still waiting patiently for this excellent project. :p

Yeah, I've been following this mod for years, (I've left home and gotten a degree during- the joys of growing up). I check pretty much every other day as I'm still genuinly excited about it. The only reason I keep a pc is for this game ( im a mac boy) I think there will be quite a lot of people checking up on this. You guys should be proud of the reputation you have earned

We've shown well over 50 peeks you know :)

I will be finished in 8 hours exactly. Then I will be celebrating, then am hoping to finish a couple of things off in the next few week map-wise.

I know about the peeks, but I think most people think a new update would be reaaaaaally awesome.. but on the other hand.. the last peek we've had was 20 april.. so that's more than a month ago.. maybe that's the reason that the forums are quite... well empty. well I wish you all good luck with your exams!
