It's only according to Galaxies. But I suppose that it is completely irrelavant.

If Yoda is still going to be in Conquest, I think it may be smart to make him VERY valuable in space by way of battle meditation. My idea is that he would be in the largest and most powerful ship in the fleet, lest there is a ship or squadron set to be deployed first. In that case, he would be in a normal hero transport. As for the stats... I would recomend +15% attack for all allied units on the map and -15% percent for all enemies.

lolz....

Put him in a Venator. XD

No, I don't think that someone as humble as him would hog his own ship. Or maybe he would just pilot it by using the force to move all the turrets and do all the switch and lever turning, and button pushing. Anyways, that was only IF he was staying in conquest. And if he is, please don't give him his own ship.
EDIT: I just noticed that I spelled recommend wrong in the quote. Please ignore that.

I was thinking more along the lines of useful Force abilities opposed to bigger ships... although you can't just attach him to other ships if you want abilities; he'll have to have his own :thumbsupsmiley:. So I don't know.

I'm going to add the VX artillery droid (from Threats of the Galaxy) It's reasonable, and I would think effective. I would say 2 artillery systems, 1 for anti-vehicle, and 1 anti-personel. I made a long post about it somewhere else.

If Yoda gets his own ship will it be able to stand up against Palpatine's?

Summary of the VX plan:
It would have a hull 75% of an AT-ST's, and the missile launchers would have different functions. The anti-personal launchers would be enough to destroy an infantry company, with a fast reload time, but would be ineffective against vehicles. The ant-vehicle missile launcher would have a small blast radius, but would take out anything short of a T4B or 2M in one hit. It would move at about the speed of infantry. To balance it out, the missiles would be slow-moving and can't turn, thus making them ineffictive on moving targets. That, and if it must deploy, then it would definitely need guard units.

Why would Yoda get his own ship when he would be meditating and performing battle meditation (which is EXACTLY what he would be doing in battle)? He'd be shot down in the blink of an eye! He should just go on the biggest ship in the fleet, and if it's just small ships, set him in a transport.

Because you can't attach abilities that way.

Could the V-wings be an upgrade for speeders?

We should just add V-wings towards the end of the tree. Also, the Heavy tracker. http://starwars.wiki...i/Heavy_Tracker
It would have sensor ping, and a long-range laser.

I don't think so, the V-Wings lack the Tow Cable.

You know, come to think of it, what would the advantage of the V-Wing be in-game?

The V-Wing just has two BLASTER cannons, while the Airspeeder has LASER CANNONS...the V-Wing would have the firepower of two soldiers...

V-Wings are really, really, really fast. Which will come in handy for the updated and (hopefully) enlarged maps. Bigger maps are in the works, right?

V-Wings are also able to climb much, much higher than landspeeders, all the way into the upper atmosphere. I'm thinking it could have an ability similar to the Stratofighter ability for Firehawks in C&C3 where it goes up and then comes down.

Considering the amount of work to be done, no.

To be perfectly honest, I don't think that would be much of an advantage in the relatively limited game engine we're working with.

Seriously sometimes I don't think the authors of the novels look into canon much when designing vehicles. I mean they gave the Star Wars equivalent to an air superiority fighter anti-infantry weapons (blasters). The V-Wing canon-wise would have less firepower than the T-47 Airspeeder (Snowspeeder).

Not all blaster cannons are the same. Those are starfighter-scale cannons, giving it laser power equal to a Z-95.

The V-wing does not have cluster missiles. That is not in the original RPG sources, and was added for the game.

The difference between "blaster" and "laser" for vehicle weapons (at least from d20 RPG sources) is negligible... the authors really don't make a distinction. I'm probably going to have to take some liberties to either change the naming scheme, or change the damage values.

The D20 damage is 4d10x2, if you don't know.
