Here it is, a brand new kick ass video as usual, in youtube showcasing that extreme action with those BIG weapons and especially the one big weapon that just devastates whole armies and yes I lost the nexus core to one sneaky decimator but battle isnt over...new mcv for the win... :xcahik_:

Awesome stuff, that HUGE cannon owns pretty much,huge range and cellspread :xcahik_: Also Laser-Sat. Strike seems to be pumped up :xcahik_:. Noticed also some new sounds, pretty cool as usually. Brutal AI seems to be more ferocious than ever..Battles in RS 2.0 are going to be pretty full of mayhem and neverending lightshow of big guns.

I believe cannon does rotate since i saw it in different angle few times. really epic cannon will make nexus enemies lives misarabe when it shoots 30 k worth of units in one shot :shiftee: especialy those pesky osiris mechs :p All tho first the player has to find out how to get such a secret unit or building :)

No, gamemate hasn't returned nor do i know what he is up to these days, the cannon building art for example was done about year ago while I've been adjusting/improving the weapon stuff since then mostly on my own.

Well apollo told me IN TOTAL 20% so far roughly I think so you know how big this mods gonna be!

Lol. In the meantime, play the prelude aka 1.99...yes it's being included in the storyline of RS. :p

I'm going to keep supporting it in terms of manual. To that end, RS2.0 really will be RS2. :) Im hoping Apollo might tweak a couple of things in 1.99 to make it fit even more neatly. :thumbsdownsmiley: Doubt it tho, lol.

Phew....I was sort of scared by your last answer. It's good to know 80% of your great work is done.
Also, if this was only 20%, i couldn't imagine what amount of content there will be for 2.0. I know there are quite a lot of things that have not been shown but an 80% more would be overwhelming.


Back on topic, the armagedon tank is definitely a stolen tech, but wt about that doomsday cannon? Is it a stolen tech or a superweapon grade base defense?

While we have touched the topic of superweapon, I agree with your decision to buff up the NEXUS laser strike. In 1.99, it always seems to be underpowered when compared to the nuke and especially the vortex storm(which could destroy full health CY). However, are there plans to balance and differentiate superweapons in ways other than their damage output? Say, by their recharge time (like how C&C General had different recharge time for different superweapons)

Last but not least, RS 2.0 is excellent, I shall wait patiently for its release (trying very hard to stop myself from drooling :thumbsdownsmiley: )
