..because we might as well wait for the first expansion to see if those darn XML coding constraints have been eased OR updated with new code so the AI can work with other gameplay aspects.

I'm truly still disheartened by the fact it seems a lot more "locked down" then I ever imagined - it makes Dawn of War LUA AI coding look like coding in basic. Of course, it doesn't help that any errors that occur in C&C3 that cause it to CTD doesn't reveal a debug log OR you have to "compile the mod into some encrypted format before the game accepts it" - some much for modularity. <sigh>

I'd love to pick the C&C3 XML devs would designed this thing because its such an utter shame that we're almost a year now since the game was released and still nothing to show for it. :thumbsdownsmiley:

Here's hoping... sad no one else has tried since the SDK came out last Oct.

Well, it looks like the Kane's Wrath AI is even worse.

Have you had any luck with it, Thudo? Or anyone else?

Even more bad news, there isn't a SDK for KW either and EA has said they don't plan on doing one yet. So your most likely in for a long wait before you can mod KW.

Yeah... This is quite disappointing. I thought they would at least do something extra for it... And yet they have neglected it.
