Running Vista 64, I extracted the mod but the shortcut is wrong because of where the game is installed... i right click to try and change the target of the short cut and nothing happens, in fact the same thing occurs if I try and edit ANY .lnk file on my computer, very strange. I can edit other short cuts but not .lnk, it causes it to hang.

Can I create a .bat file in my ROWK directory to start the mod that way? if so what do I have to do. I tried creating a .bat with the function "lotrbfme2ep1.exe -mod RJ_RotWK" didn't work

Witch King loads but its just the normal game not the mod.

I don't see why creating a batch file wouldn't work. Yours probably didn't because it's wrong. Unless you're going to put the .bat file in the same directory as the game (or add that directory to your path environment variable) you need to specify the entire path to your game executable, and you also need to have "-mod C:\RJ_RotWK" rather than just "-mod RJ_RotWK".

Yay, you're making me look like a complete newbie.
I'd be glad if someone would offer me walkthrough for making that specific batch file :p

By the way, anyone has any ideas why we're not able to edit those .ink files?

It's been fixed now, just did clean install of both games, expansion and base game.
