Where are you opening the world builder from, the external link or the link inside the game?

On the topic of world builder does anyone know how to make it so that units are assigned to a player at the beginning of a skirmish? Any response would be most appreciated.

I've never had a close look at that topic but I know you can assigne units to players but I never tried it and I can't look it up cause I'm on vacation for this and the next week

I think it probably has to do with scripting so I will play around with that.

Most of those "hidden" objects were either unfinished or removed for various reasons.

as for changing the starting units, you have to edit ini files. I think the "playertemplate.ini" is the one you need. It may also be possible via scripts in WB, but I've never tried that.

Between now and the next polished release there should be very little new art work done. Instead the focus is on designing, testing, and fixing. the mod has always been so close to finished that its nearly criminal. I'd love to see this through to the end with a real community effort.

I am trying to figure out the world builder, but there are two issues that I am having. The first is that on my map I am having extensive issues with lag. Besides all of the basic path and boundary set up I just have three apartments a road and some resource buildings. The only thing I can think of would be that the map is too large. The map is 600x600 and I only have 2 players on it currently.

The second issue that I have is that I am unable to select ground textures after the initial paint can main fill and the brushes don't do anything when I have the secondary texture selected.

Any help would be most appreciated. If you need the map itself I can give it to you but I am unable to include it as an attachment here.

600x600 is too big for a too player map, always try to compare it with standart EA maps

I don't understand your second problem that always worked fine for me
