Hey guys i downloaded the file but i can't extract it all my extractors say the file format is damaged and i downloaded it like 5 times!

ME TOO! WE DOWNLOAD YOUR GAME AND IT DOESN'T WORK! WE EXTRACT BUT IT SAYS THERE IS NO FILES TO EXTRACT! I SUGGEST THAT YOU MAKE THE cD INTALLER OF IT AND SELL IT....

Sell it? Sounds like a good idea if you want to get thrown in jail for a couple of years. I dont own Gundam or EAW so I have no buisness making any money on it.

well, sell the discs, not the contents.
jk jk, but if you do sell them for the material fee, as in the cost of the discs.
That's what I do for my friends who wants to buy things off me. wont mention what the contents are since that's not what im selling anyways. lol

I can't extract it either. I download it and when it opens it says its a invalid zip file and cannot be downloaded. It then asks me to download it again. Any ideas what the problem is?
Also i attempted to open it with Winrar just to see what would happen. It claims the file is either invalid or damaged. Is there any chance you guys could re zip the alpha?

on the download page it says the file is 67mb but when downloading it's only 42mb? (and i can't seem to be able to extract it no matter how many times I download it) help thank in advanced

Hi, i recent;y downloaded this and i got it to "work" but there is a problem. There are no changes, the ties did not become ginns, it is still all star wars except for the music, the menu (except for the video background which is still star wars), and the intro vid. need help and i followed instructions. then i tried putting the xml file into the data folder cause thats what i tried first, and there is this exception thing. So yeah need help asap.

Oh i have a question, by just extract files to game data, does that mean the first files that you see the instant that you enter gundam legacy or is it more specific.

I have totally lost interest in this lols, sry i forgot to put the file up elsewhere and now i dont really have the time. For the forum regulars...Ah....finally i get posted to an operational unit in the army...cant say what it is though.
Anyways, the instructions that come with the mod are very clear. Just overwrite the stuff in your game folder, i assume the reason why you have an incomplete install is that you selected no to overwriting.
More complicated is if you want to keep your original install along side the mod. Under gamedata folder, make a new folder called 'Mods'. Put the whole folder into the mod folder, as in the entire folder with the gamedata folder and readme inside. Then go to www.eawfiles.com and download the mod manager called petrolauncher. Use petrolauncher to use the mod and start the game normally for the original game.
Also....this NOT compatible with the FOC expansion. It will jam. When it becomes compatible will pretty much depend on when infinite gets up to buy a copy i suppose...

again got it to "work" except when i try to launch units, the game freezes, there is not icon pic for the units, no intro vid, and no background vid for menu.

I began tweeking and got stuck on square one again. If you don't understand what i am saying then here is a translation. My all my problems are now the first problems again.
