Over at the Official EA Forums, Apoc has posted up a Question and Answer thread in which the RA3 developers will endeavour to answer 3-10 questions or so periodically about Red Alert 3. If you've got something on your chest that you're simply dying to get answered you can ask Apoc Right Here!

Also, at the Official RA3 Site there's a brand-spanking new wallpaper available to be consumed by hungry fans. Check that out now.

Why has Tanya suddenly become Soviet?

Probably a typo I guess. Although there seems to be a lot of "mistakes" happening thus far :)

Wow... how much do you have to go through just to post something there. I'll probably never use the account more than once and its taking so outrageously long to make it.

I just want to know why Tanya is soviet and maybe to know if Allies will capitalize on Chrono tech (they are keeping it despite Einstein's death right?) the same way Soviets do with Tesla tech.

I'm guessing that while they go back in time, they somehow get Tanya to join their side (wasn't she a Russian civilian in RA1... I remember her saying the reason she never died was because she was a civilian). However I want an official answer. :thumbsupsmiley: Maybe its just for the promo, perhaps they think Tanya is more attractive than the Soviet representative. Tanya's probably the first thing you think about when someone mentions Red Alert.

It's a typo. Tanya is still on the Allies side. Notice that the link on the official RA3 site has been changed to 'Soviet' rather than 'Tanya' wallpaper.

Realism is so overrated it isn't even funny. You already know what happens in reality, how is that entertaining...?

That girl in the picture is not Tanya. It's Natasha, the Soviet's hero in RA3.

Just to avoid confusion, the Japanese hero is called Alexis. The Soviet hero is called Natasha. And (of course) the Allies hero is Tanya.

Ah... I see. I really should read other peoples posts first.

Previous post edited to clear up confusion.

EDIT: There have been rumors that the Japanese hero possesses weather control. Considering Einstein is dead, this leaves the possibility of Japan having weather control technology.

Perhaps I guess. Alexis definitely sounds rather feminine to me...
