For those of you living in Belgium or Holland, you might have already had the opportunity to read about Phoenix Rising in your local gaming periodical, but for those of us not so fortunate, here's a recap. PC Gameplay, a Dutch-language magazine circulated throughout the Low Countries, featured us rather prominently in their mods section for the March 2008 issue. From what I can garner, the review was quite positive, even going so far as to compare us to an official product. I'm, of course, both flattered and thrilled that so many people are enjoying the hard, often uncompromising effort that was put into Space.

But the truth of the matter is that this mention was no random coincidence. Getting an article published for us was wholly the enterprise of our very own Theempirewins. Many thanks to Peter for taking it upon himself to do this for us out of no prompting of my own and also PC Gameplay for sending it to the presses! May it be the first of many such mentions for PR.

I'm sure many others would love 2 help as well; but most of us have no skills... anyway I'm glad that you did get some publicity! I bet if you gave us something 2 do like as a project; you'd get assloads of help! but the reliability of that is definatly debateable.

Congrats!

If I could help out I would. I can't code or draw but I'm pretty good at research and writing. I got about 95% of all original Star Wars RPG books/sourcebooks and I'm starting to collect the new ones. If you ever need any help in that regard hit me up. I often have tons of free time between shift work. I don't consider myself amazing or anything but I can write well enough that I'm writing a three book Star Wars novel series.

Well, I hope to are patient, because PR looks to be very busy right now and everybody here would love to have a modeler in the team, and I'm pretty sure PR also does.

the only thing I could be of help with would be a canon library of sorts. I have pretty much every book up to the end of the Yuzan Vong war,(and I am always on the lookout for more) and I have read all of them excapt for the Yuzan Vong war. I have the others all relativey dedicated to memory and will soon begin reading said Vong books. So i can definatly help there. I also have the fabled Star Wars encyopedia, made by the biggest collector of star wars memobelia, Steven Sansweet, which is canoaical up to a Tee. he needs to make another of those...

I have many of the essential guides, much of the old and two of the new (am I the only one that notices that the pages of the new essential guides fall out easily?) and well I have the old essential guides to vehicles and vessels and weapons and technology (in addition to others) and well those are the most important ones to help with this.

I have the new essential guide to vehicles and vessels but really it just replaced some of the more obscure ships in the old essential guides with stuff from the prequels and Yuuzhan Vong ships.

Oh yes and Phoenix congratulations. =D

Well this article kind of proves that you don't need any modding skills in order to help.

If I could help out I would. I can't code or draw but I'm pretty good at research and writing. I got about 95% of all original Star Wars RPG books/sourcebooks and I'm starting to collect the new ones.

That may be of use. I'm up to speed on the current RPG, but the original was mostly before my time - I never really got into it for the game, so I only have a few sourcebooks here and there. If there are any obscure vehicles or infantry units that have been missed, it might be helpful to list them.

the only thing I could be of help with would be a canon library of sorts. I have pretty much every book up to the end of the Yuzan Vong war

Hmm, well you could help with verifying the historical campaigns. Lists of planets, heroes with planet locations, and fleet information (if possible) would be useful. I didn't go through page-by-page to do the Thrawn Campaign or Shadow Hand, so I'm sure I've missed something.

P.S. Sorry I haven't posted for awhile...also do you have an approx. date when the bugs in space will be fixed???

Heh, when I land a job and/or graduate it seems. The combination has just been overwhelming to my free time. Plus I've been working on another secret title for my capstone project...
