Hey, I did that in the past, let it go.

"Vortigern never corrects my grammar."
Yes, I know this can be turned around at me.

Hello everyone. I am back.

Yeah, he doesn't have moderator powers any more. By the way, with the exception of the misplaced preposition in his red text, I have never had to correct Copaman's grammar. He has a very competent grasp of English.

"You know when kids write stories that involve characters based heavily on themselves doing ridiculous awesome things because they can't ever do anything awesome in real life? Yeah, I hate that. It's like poison to my mind."
I hope I am a good enough writer that some day dwarves kill me and drink my blood for wisdom.

What makes you think my grasp of English isn't good?

"Who's Tom Joad?"
Really, who is he?

Hello everyone. I am back.

Tom Joad was the main charater of Grapes of Wrath, written by Steinbeck. The story tells of the Great Depression and all the shit that Tom's family had to go through. Bruce Springsteen used the name in a song of his, called The Ghost of Tom Joad, and said that the Ghost of Tom Joad would be there... "wherever you seen a cop beatin a guy, wherever a hungry new born baby cries, wherever there's a fight against the blood and hatred in the air, look for me ma, I'll be there. Wherever somebody's strugglin' for a place to stay; for a decent job or a helpin' hand; wherever somebody's strugglin' to be free, look in their eyes ma, you'll see me." Rage Against the Machine covered this song live, and put a version on their album Renegades. Tom Morello performed it live with Bruce Springsteen after RATM broke up; this version is not quite what I'd like it to be (I prefer Rage's cover over the original) but it does contain what is, IMO, one of Tom Morello's best solos ever. I have since taken the name Tom Joad and applied it to my own usage - as the last heir to the deathknelven throne in our RP Arsencia.
