Yeah there was an Outer Space mod, i don't remember the name, or who it was by, just the gas stations that you built in nebulae and they gave you money.
It was well done.es

What about like a cartoon type mod? Not like TACTICS, not Mario World but just cartoon characters battling it out. Looney Toons vs. Disney anyone? It would be fun to play lol, but maybe not serious enough to make.

anyway, seriously though, what if you made a cartoon conversion of red alert 2? so make everything extra cartoony, maybe big head infantry, and everything having cartoony outlines and stuff...


more serious stuff could be:
-fantasy conversion
(you know, magic and crap)
-sci fi conversion
(space, aliens, ect)


i just thought of one,
post-apocalyptic conversion
either as in soon after, with everything being barren and ruined,

or one based later on, after an apocalyptic war, where humans were basically wiped out, and the world vastly changed from that great war

now they are making a come back, with vastly different technology then what use to be

some examples could be that we never figured out how to make planes(or only very few planes are in existence), so only lighter-then-air alternatives are available(like blimps, hot air balloons), in other area's though they are more advanced, (like maybe mechs or whatever you decide)
some of the advancements are because of old technologies that they have found half wrecked and managed to fix up
some factions could even have been able to re-activate 'ancient' orbital weapon systems, and now use them to make war...


just an idea though...

Vincent,in fact,at a moment i was quite interested in that.

A small idea here:



Dont take in consideration the language,just the graphics.

Well,my other TC idea was An future war between 2 sides:1 good an 1 bad(like Nod and GDI but more futuristical)
The maps would have zones that you capture and have to protect and in the mean time to fight with the enemies.
The one who captures the more zones in an amount of time/capture all zones plus destroying the enemy wins.
The missions would be like capture zone X and so on.
Zones provide money by capturing Zone Centers.
Something like an arena.

what if you made a conversion, that instead of having distinctly defined 'this side is good, and this side bad", what if it was less distinguished

so side A could say... be on a quest for the perfect human, they have advance tech and are like the allies basically(but more advanced?), except that on their quest they use what could be called 'inhumane' efforts, things like mutation, and cybernetic enhancement

another side(lets call them B) could be a rebel like faction, they want freedom from the evils of side A, but are known to use some underhanded methods(such as terrorism) against their enemies. so they treat their friends well, but show no mercy to their 'enemies'

side C.. well i dont really have an idea for side c, but you could make one up, couldnt you? making sure that although they seem like the good guys in some respects, in others they are not(maybe they take advanage of people, so while some live in luxury, others are living in poverty? or something)

meh,maybe the side idea is not too clear but the main idea of the mod i think its understandable
