Seems no matter how you slice it McCain/Rice would beat any combo of Obama and Clinton. This is actually something I've brought up for some time. McCain is right of center in American politics. Rice is more conservative. Rice and McCain definately have more combined worldly experience in leading a nation.
You also have the balance of old white man and black female. I feel it's a powerhouse ticket but we'll have to see if see if she would take it.
McCain has the military experience and respect as well as many years in the Senate and a proven record to cross party lines based on what he believes. He has proven he can work with the Democrats to get things done. Rice has a quite a resume and is simply overqualified for the position when compared to past and present Vice Presidents.

Obama and Rice are both great public speakers but Obama simply lacks experience in foriegn policy as well as executive management. Clinton is just a liar and a cheat who will say anything to get what she wants.
This is winding up to be the most interesting election for a US President since Kennedy vs. Nixon back in 1962...

Und da war dann noch der achte.
Sieben waren wild und der achte war zahm
Und der achte war's, der sie bewachte.
