To Whom It May Concern:
The Keating Konflict is, as of the present time of writing, really suffering from a lack of graphic assets. Although many hours have been spent on the gameplay of the mod, it is all for naught when players refuse to download the game due to dull-looking screen shots. While I would be normally more than happy to wait patiently for more activity, I am now forced to act due to an upcoming Konflux meeting on April 19. Since at this meeting the future of the Keating Konflict project will be decided, I need to gather as much information for the meeting as possible so that we can make an informed decision.
Therefore, all I ask from you all as a community is very little; I do not want to detract from all of your important day-to-day activities or otherwise. To those that consider themselves players, my question is "Have you downloaded, played and enjoyed the Keating Konflict, or would be willing to try the game in the near future?" To those that consider themselves artists, my question is "Would you be willing to consider creating assets for the Keating Konflict in the future?"
To allow you to answer quickly, a poll has been added. Feel free to post as well. Seriously though guys, thanks for your time and responses. We really do need to know if people like the game or not.
God Bless

Well, if it's any consolation, I like your mod. It's a unique idea and style of gameplay, and the story seems interesting. Unfortunately though I have neither the time nor the skill to do any graphics.

Thank you everyone for your support!
In terms of public domain material, the Konflict's epic size makes resource sites such as YR:Argentina redundant. Provided the Konflict is completed to its full planned potential, there would be over 9 separate factions, not counting subfactions and alternative game modes. Resource sites are great for finding good temporary graphics for units and structures on a unit-by-unit basis, they do not provide entire factions of downloadable asset (or at least to my knowledge). I'm not afraid to do some work myself, but I simply don't have the skills to do anything apart from terrains and copy-and-paste structures.
The Konflict, should it continue, would be massive. It's because of its proposed size that we are making sure that the game is being well recieved. It would be a shame if so much effort went to waste.

@Black Temple Guardian:
Thanks for bringing MadHQ's work to my attention. Although his site is currently down, the files I managed to find seemed okay. Hopefully there are enough graphics within MadHQ's pack to make one faction. Failing that, I'm sure that they will help for replacing some of the more odd-looking structures. Short of public resouces, recolours may be an effective temporary solution until reinforcements arrive.
@n0th1nG sp3c1aL:
Well I'm glad to see that you're enjoying the game. Don't worry too much over not being able to do any graphics; your support is appreciated. Be sure to cast a vote in the poll if you haven't already -- I will be using both the posts and the polls for the meeting.
