Now the movie detailing it is suffering from severe paranoia induction, but here's the link anyways:

The only problem I see with this is that no amount of e-drama will change a corporate decision unless they genuinely have something to lose. Rather than shouting about, Virgin users should simply threaten to withdraw from the service. We all know that the best way to hurt corporations is through their pockets, simple enough.
Also as an interesting piece of trivia: it seems the US leads in the freedom department in this case. UK government is open to a double lane internet that is favouring corporate websites. The US on the other hand has a lobby that is constantly nagging the Congress to put in legislation forbidding stuff like this. UK seems to be a country of some really big contrasts recently, it does..
ARGUMENT FROM CREATION, a.k.a. ARGUMENT FROM PERSONAL INCREDULITY (I)
(1) If evolution is false, then creationism is true, and therefore God exists.
(2) Evolution can't be true, since I lack the mental capacity to understand it; moreover, to accept its truth would cause me to be uncomfortable.
(3) Therefore, God exists.

Too cute! | Server Status: If you can read this, it's up |Well, when it comes to writing an expository essay about counter-insurgent tactics, I'm of the old school. First you tell them how you're going to kill them. Then you kill them. Then you tell them how you just killed them.

No no no! There actually destroying the Internet don't you see?If the other companies get their way and restrict our internet options then Virgin should do their thing. I applaud them. Sure it'll be slow but it'll be there. It's nice to see a big company standing up for the people even if it is just to make a profit. In the end it still has the same result. So bravo Virgin. Fight the good fight. Save the internet.

But it's not saving the Internet. It's doing the opposite. If you don't have a partnership with them, you go slow and that puts off your end user. They won't come back and they'll stick to any sites that move quickly. You lose users, you lose money or a reason to run your site. Sites die without a good userbase. Your argument is silly and extremely dangerous. If the other companies get their way and restrict our internet options then Virgin should do their thing. I applaud them. I don't know, I want to lose my virginity, but this way doesn't seem right. I'd rather get to know her first and maybe take out to dinner or something .
