:ninja: I don't play many videogames so I have no idea what battlefield is like either... So, do you control one person in epic battles or do you command an entire army?

You control one guy at a time. When that guy dies (or whenever) you take control of another one.
And IIRC it's an FPS but turns into a third-person shooter for the archer segments.
Cheers,

Thanks. :ninja: It'll be interesting to see how the Helm's Deep and Minas Tirith map look like.

Battlefront II was a horrible abomination lore-wise. Here's to hoping they learned something from that travesty.

Are you referring to the fact that:
The 501st clone troopers were born around 39 BBY with accelerated growth (x2). I think in the cutscenes it is mentioned that they are the same troopers from Geonosis, which means by Hoth (3 ABY) they would be 84 physical years old.

But fett was 52 yrs (normally) b the time he died...even without growth acceleration, was twice the age of a nrmal person.

Not sure I understood that...you're saying he's 52, and that's twice the age of a normal person...but...so what? :p And fett was accelerated, the clones were.

Though a small number of clones managed to stop the accelerated aging, and possibly even generally aging.

If we're talking Boba, then they said that Jango wanted an unmodified clone of him self... And, while there are a hundred thousand clones ready for the Republic, Boba is still a kid, like the other ones in the "training grounds"... Thus, no 2x for him

edit: provided he's of the first load of course ;)

I think he was talking jango, as boba was older than 52 by the time he died

And I think nertea actually meant that the 501st was on mygeeto, felucia, and all those planets simultaneously...which could never have happened. And the empire v CIS battles and stuff like that never happened.

In the expanded universe, they do. The Empire vs CIS battles happen post-clone wars, not at the end of it.

Can you give an example? I'm fairly certain the CIS was shut down by anakin, which was the end of the clone wars  There may have been some uses of droid starfighters/battle droids, but nothing like what battlefront portrayed.

Is says there will also be a hero deathmatch mode, where everyone gets to be a hero.

Much like that tatooine conquest on bf2.

Tatooine assault, not conquest.

Theres currently an active community of 1300 players, and a good half of them play hero assault modes daily, with at least 16 dedicated servers devoted to variants of rules with the mode. Free for all no force, force on teams combat, duelling servers, and more.

I'm one of those 1300 active hero assault players, and my total time on swbf2 is over 2200 hours.

If these statistics mean anything to you guys, it should indicate that Lord of the Rings Conquest will have a fairly large population devoted to playing just hero deathmatch. =)

The game mentions that the Geonosian you kill in the level re-activated a droid factory.

Shelob Riding Ringwraith? Its been a long time since you have been here. Welcome back ;)

I dont think he was reffering to that... If im correct, I think hes reffering to the promo screenshots of bfme not actually containing some actual game content, etc.
