So much "impossible" stuff done....RJ-RotWK is beginning to defy what was once stated to be "impossible"...

Good fortune and godspeed,

O slender as a willow-wand! O clearer than clear water!
O reed by the living pool! Fair river-daughter!
O spring-time and summer-time, and spring again after!
O wind on the waterfall, and the leaves' laughter!

Old Tom Bombadil is a merry fellow;
Bright blue his jacket is, and his boots are yellow.

Indeed. No other words for this amazing work!
It has been reported that some victims of rape, during the act, would retreat into a fantasy world from which they could not WAKE UP. In this catatonic state, the victim lived in a world just like their normal one, except they weren't being raped. The only way that they realized they needed to WAKE UP was a note they found in their fantasy world. It would tell them about their condition, and tell them to WAKE UP. Even then, it would often take months until they were ready to discard their fantasy world and PLEASE WAKE UP

By the way, thank you so much for splitting up Mirkwood!! I always thought that EA could never do the forest justice in WOTR mode by just splitting it into two parts: Dol Goldur and Mirkwood. So is there going to be a crazy amount of spider lairs in the Mirkwood maps

@hrrypttrbst: who knows? though, rob could probably make it such that each territory is worth fewer command points.

The stuff probably shouldn't be worth less CP... But I'm hoping that it stays with the new (and one of the better ideas of E.A.) monetary system up to about 20k CP. Anyways, as the fiefs will be harder to control, you will need more soldiers, so it would be ill advised to reduce usable CP.

cool, absolutely cool
"Let this scar signify the first blow against the mortal world."
"From this seal shall arise the doom of men,"
"who, in their arrogance, sought to wield our fire as their own."
"Blindly they build their kingdoms upon stolen knowledge and conceit."
"Now they shall be consumed by the very flame they sought to control."
"Let the echoes of doom resound across this wretched world, that all who live may hear them and despair."

"Tremble, mortals, and despair! Doom has come to this world!"

What can't he do? Can someone tell me his exact plans or at least an outline? As in will the map be for just campaign or WotR, how will units be purchased, and will there be a command limit?

The Living World Map will be used in both the Campaign and War of the Ring.
I, myself, haven't been told anything else beyond that. But it's safe to assume it will work like in the Vanilla Edition.

Ok, thanks. If you haven't been told anything else, then Rob may still be trying to decide what to do.

There's a bunch of wierd plans that have been floated around on msn and other places...from no builders at all to alliance or inn builders....nothing is final yet.

Might as well post it here, as I'm sure some people have already found it.

I've been using this as a reference of which maps are being used in which regions, etc. The blank ones are places we are trying to fill in. A number of them are being worked on, have been worked on, etc.

http://rjrotwk.the3r...iving_world.htm

We're always looking for quality mappers, either to do new maps for RJ or those who wish to donate to this massive project. You can pm me if you're interested.

I guess it's time for me to start making attempts to map... Anyways, I'm assuming the scaled MT will be used for campaign? And also, will it have multiple gates for at least the 1st 3 levels?

Actually, it's only gonna be used for skirmish :crazed: Some people would have too much lag for compaign, and it would suck not to be able to play.

And a good number of those maps are already done or nearing completion in mapping forums.

It's Barad-Dur. And it won't be featured in the LWM. And yes, snowy Fornost is the best.
