It'll be neutral anyway, unless you've forgotton how standard wotr works! :umad: I just mean what region it belongs to, so which region bonus it contributes to.

can there be some islands made as playable area ?
"Let this scar signify the first blow against the mortal world."
"From this seal shall arise the doom of men,"
"who, in their arrogance, sought to wield our fire as their own."
"Blindly they build their kingdoms upon stolen knowledge and conceit."
"Now they shall be consumed by the very flame they sought to control."
"Let the echoes of doom resound across this wretched world, that all who live may hear them and despair."

"Tremble, mortals, and despair! Doom has come to this world!"

Speaking of which, will Navy units use the same system? Meaning that if you build them on one map, you don't get them for the next mission.

Also there needs to be some price reductions for the ship that uses a catapult. The cost for those are 2000 and that's kind of insane for a ship.

Think you're right actually. Has someone double-checked yet?

But anyways their costs need to be lowered.

They're incredibly longranged and all boats are kinda op :p Naval stuff is gonna have to be extensivly reworked before it's balanced.

Fair enough. So long as it's looked at when you guys have the time, I'm fine with it.

Are you guys going to give different factions different models of boats, by the way? If you guys didn't do that, I'd understand.

Good, because IIRC, naval play was dominated by suicide ships and bombards. If you're going to include an island map, it's gonna need to be very big so that ships can maneuver and so that bombards can't wreck an entire base from the sea, which would force people to use land units to attack enemy islands, at least the initial base ones.

As for the suicide ships themselves, make them cost more than they do now as they could wreck a whole fleet for too little of a cost.

On Tolfalas I'm either going to get rid of the bombard ships, or more likely reduce their range serverly. And their damage.

bombard ships are way too powerful, especially against ai's. ive torn apart entire bases with just 1 or 2 of them and the ai wont do anything against them sometimes.
definitely nerf them or rework the entire naval system.

Maybe we could dispose with the suicide ship and replace them with something more worthwhile? I've never seen the point in elven suicide ships, as I don't think elves would make something to waste it like that. Maybe an anti-naval ship using the noledhil?
