Name: Max 'Mac' Arcus
Position: Pilot
Age: 32
Experience: Born to the verdant planet of Ceres, Max's childhood was spent in the high fields of the planet's vast plains. In his early teens his family migrated to the city, where he was enrolled in the ambulance corps. He showed great proficiency as a high-speed urban driver and quickly found himself in charge of his own craft.
It was while he was flying ambulances at great speed across the sky-ways of the city that he encountered all kinds of interesting folk, most notably Marcus Wolff. Max's ambulance had picked the man up with a gunshot wound to the belly, and had had to operate hovering above the city centre in order to stop the man bleeding to death. It was as Max helped with this life-threatening surgery that the man related to him, between grunts, the tale of how his ship had recently been requisitioned as repayment by some angry mobsters, who had then proceeded to shoot him. He informed Max of his urgent need to acquire another ship, and another pilot (his last appearing to be affiliated with said mobsters) in order to escape the planet. And thus it came to pass that Max and Marcus fled Ceres in an unnecessarily dramatic (but extremely enjoyable) chase, pursued by inefficient local police. Since that day 14 years ago the pair had worked as a unit, acquiring various different ships and crews.
Finally, the Icarus caught Wolff's attention and the need for a new crew had suddenly developed. And here they were.

Of course I don't look busy; I did it right the first time.
Ever stop to think and forget to start again?
There are 10 kinds of people in this world: Those who understand binary and those who don't.
FZM and Vort don't do tag wrestling...but if they did, they'd probably be the worst tag-wrestlers in the world.
Oh for fuck's sake!

It's all good, dude. Come pilot my spaceship! (No innuendo involved, no matter how that sounds to any of you gutter-minded people out there.)
I hope I am a good enough writer that some day dwarves kill me and drink my blood for wisdom.
