Structured freedom? You mean systematic oppression, I take it.

Structured freedom? What the hell is that oxymoron supposed to mean?

Theres no such thing as real freedom and never will be. Structured "freedom" is as close to actual freedom as possible, giving an illusion of a free country but still having laws and regulations which ultimately does mean "freedom" (Freedom as in having a nice life with no complaints, of course they couldn't do ANYTHING, but things regular civilized people might do) to those who abide by those laws and agree with them.

Systematic oppression is just a drama seeking name for it. Whenever anyone is being "oppressed" other countries suddenly have to help when they themselves HAVE to be oppressed in some way, since there is no such thing as freedom.

Americans seem to be forgetting about Guantanamo.

Convenient, that, isn't it?

Everything about the USA, on an international scale, smacks of hypocrisy. I don't understand how anyone can still trust a nation that invaded somewhere 'in the name of democracy'? Democracy cannot work if it is forced upon the people. I would love it if Iraq elected a communist, or a Saddam-alike, just because it was the furthest from what America has. Of course, Iraq may never get elections, if we keep our troops there forever, which we seem to be doing.

Structured freedom is an oxymoron. There can be no such thing. That's like saying "I have the freedom to eat at the appointed time daily, but at no other point." Wow, what a fantastic choice you have there. Freedom has to be absolute, tempered by morals and ethics. Of course, there are those of you who will now point out that people have different ethics, and if someone doesn't see the problem with something, does that make it OK? Of course it doesn't, you need to work on generally accepted morals. Stealing is wrong. Killing is wrong. Rape is wrong. The rest should be down to you to judge whether society will shun you for it, and on your head be it if you call it wrong.

Having read about America's role in Chile a while ago with Pinochet, it seems that America just keeps making the same mistakes over and over again.

You've noticed that too, eh? That would make them just like everyone else. I can't remember who said it, but "The only thing we can learn from history is that we never learn from history."

Well, when it comes to writing an expository essay about counter-insurgent tactics, I'm of the old school. First you tell them how you're going to kill them. Then you kill them. Then you tell them how you just killed them.

it wasn't a very good troll(though some might get hooked on the bait if they are american :p), so yes i concur.

Ultimately, every nation on this globe has interests. We all dance on the same line, trying to make the others fall off while dancing on it ourselves.

All I've got to say is thank god we had a revolution a couple hundred years ago.

Ha, why? Because I believe in structured freedom rather than "we can do anything we want damnit, it's our God given right as Americans"?

Structured freedom? What the hell is that oxymoron supposed to mean?

Uhh...
Oppression is Freedom
War is Peace
All that jazz? :p

OLD SIG
When history witnesses a great change Razgriz reveals itself,
first as a dark demon. As a demon it uses it power to rain death upon the land,
and then it dies. However after a period of slumber Razgriz returns
As the demon sleeps, man turns on man.
Its own blood, and madness soon cover the earth.
From the depths of despair awaken the Razgriz.
Its raven wings ablaze in majestic light.
Amidst the eternal waves of time
From a ripple of change shall the storm rise
Out of the abyss peer the eyes of a demon
Behold the Razgriz, its wings of black sheath
The demon soars through the dark skies
Fear and Death trail its shadow beneath
Until Men united wield a hallowed sabre
In Final Reckoning, the beast is slain.

Trolling? Any more crybaby bullshit, the concept of trolling was formed by mental rejects who lost arguments online. I hope we will not have to throw you into that group.
